This was one of the nicest bed and breakfasts that my wife and I have stayed in. The location is ideal...away from the hustle and bustle of Woodstock, but close enough to drive there during the day or for dinner. Elegant, charming, romantic...I can go on forever. Nancy and Mike are wonderful hosts. We will be visiting many times in the upcoming future.

This was our third trip to the Maple Leaf Inn and we can't wait to return! Mike and Nancy are very gracious hosts! We love everything about the inn, the location, the decor, but most of all the very peaceful atmosphere. My husband and I had been their twice for very romantic weekends. This time we returned with our 11 year old daughter. She enjoyed playing their electric piano, reading during the power outage and playing games with us. We were holed up during the storm, as the flood waters prevented us from leaving the property. Mike and Nancy made all of their stranded guests a wonderful dinner, as well as delicious breakfasts. This time we took home two of their pottery mugs (with their logo on them) as keepsakes of our quiet, relaxing stay. We are already planning our next trip to the inn!

All the reviews about this place are accurate. I can't say enough great things. Despite its country setting it is well marked with a big sign and easy to find. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, Mike and Nancy were great hosts in a great setting. The room was perfect, the king size bed was VERY comfortable with high quality sheets, and each turn down service was met with a gift on the pillow. Mike and Nancy are very knowledgeable about the area so if you need dinner reservations, directions to a particular site, or suggestions on what to do for the day, they can help you.

We stayed there three nights and each morning were met with a great, three course breakfast that varied from waffles to eggs to banana pancakes. I'm fairly certain most of the herbs used in the breakfasts are grown right out back in their own garden. They were also nice enough to oblige dietary restrictions, which can't be easy when you are trying to satisfy multiple parties. Breakfast filled us so much, a light bite for lunch was all we needed until dinner. And Mike kept offering us more if we wanted, so there was no reason to go hungry.

Cookies and a complimentary glass of wine or beer were served every afternoon. A late afternoon glass of wine on the porch was a great setting pre-dinner ritual. I got a bit too used to it.

The room was beautiful with the most incredible bedding. Breakfast was excellent and incredibly filling. The little presents left on the pillow each night were a nice touch. Nancy and Mike were really hospitable and I felt like family after three days; I didn't want to leave. Wouldn't hesitate to go back.

From the moment we drove up the winding, wooded driveway we knew we had found something special. Surrounded by manicured flower beds, the inn is a tastefully decorated, serene oasis. A gentle aroma of sage and pine follows guests through parlors and halls painted in restful, muted shades of green. Rooms are large, airy, comfortable, and outfitted with every convenience to accommodate guests. We were greeted on arrival with two plates of home-made cookies, one gluten free (for me), and wine. Breakfast was a 3-course gourmet delight. Nancy, one of the innkeepers, is a talented chef. The gluten free dishes she made for me were amazing and they looked just like the regular menu my husband and the other guests were enjoying. No detail has been overlooked in creating a gracious environment. Don't miss this exceptional B&B.

We were greeting warmly by the Innkeepers and their graciousness continued throughout our stay. Our guest room and bathroom had all of the features of a five star hotel from the soaps, towels, and linens, to the bottle of pure maple syrup found on our pillows after the turn-down service.

Breakfast was outstanding!! Every item served a memorable, homemade delight, especially the souffle.

It was great having access to a computer to check my e-mail and to a wonderful library. The grounds surrounding the inn are lovely and it was pleasant to relax in one of the several rocking chairs on the porch with a glass of wine.

I am very hard to please and critical and I can not think of one negative thing to say about The Maple Leaf Inn. We stayed at four other B&B's while traveling and by far, this Inn was excellent. Another inn wrote in the confirmation that a glass of wine would be offered in the evening, but it never appeared or was mentioned. Guests at The Maple Leaf Inn are offered beer or wine in addition to an open pantry on the second floor hallway stocked with drinks, snacks and numerous pillows to find one that you prefer. Coffee and tea are available at any hour.

I would love to stay at the Maple Leaf Inn if my travels ever take me back to the area. For sure, guests staying there will not be disappointed.

We have NEVER felt so at home and pampered. It was at the top of the list of "to do again." We don't travel much and all apprehensions flew with the birds from the moment we stepped in their hall. Every detail from cookies on the hall table, treats on our pillows every night, Nancy's breakfasts, the teamwork between Nancy and Mike was a joy to watch, they never missed a beat. The library was a special retreat and bird watching at all Mike's feeders was beautiful.
