We stayed at the Maple Leaf Inn for three nights during which time we attended the Dartmouth graduation. While the Maple Leaf was a bit far from Hanover, it is a very picturesque drive and not a hardship. The Maple Leaf is one of the cleanest places in which I've had the pleasure to stay. The owners, Nancy and Mike, are helpful, kind, and very talented---Nancy is an outstanding chef and Mike is an excellent gardener. Of course, they both wear many other hats. The breakfasts are just wonderful---we enjoyed homemade waffles, blueberry pancakes, homemade biscuits, a marvelous egg soufflé, among many other fresh and delicious treats. Our room had the feeling of excellent planning and anticipation of guests' needs---whatever we needed was already there. Also, the owners left lovely surprise items like little flashlights and notepads for us. This was a very enjoyable place to stay and we heartily recommend it. The location is only about ten miles from Woodstock where we would recommend the Prince and Pauper restaurant and the dining at the Woodstock Inn. Also, we enjoyed a nearby farm to table location, Cloudland Farms. The shopping in Woodstock is lots of fun as well.

This was our second vacation in VT. We've stayed at other B&B's, in VT and elsewhere, but the Maple Leaf Inn surpassed them all. This Inn, and owners Mike & Nancy, have raised the bar for our expectations. The Inn sits at least 1/4 of a mile off of the road, on a large beautiful lot. The rooms are very clean, as well as the rest of the Inn. Sitting atop of the sloped yard (small slope), is the Inn, with it's wrap around porch, and lit candles in every window. There is also an area in the yard with a fire pit and sitting area. This Inn just screams the invitation to stay! If you're looking for a beautiful, quiet place to stay, that is close to Woodstock, and Quechee, you should stay here! You won't be disappointed!

Room Tip: We stayed in the "Sweet Dreams" room on the 3rd floor. Nice King bed, large soaking tub, a...

Came back for a second time this year, and loved it just as much as the first. Clean and comfortable room, amazing bath, and amazing breakfast, all with friendly service. We already booked for next year.

Room Tip: I am always looking for a room with a good tub, therefore I love Winter Haven.

We stayed here for five nights, from May 4th to the 9th. Mike and Nacy were wonderful from the beginning to the end. The hospitality, friendliness and service were outstanding. This was our first visit to a B and B and we were very pleasantly surprised. The room and bed were very comfortable and the breakfasts were incredible. We definitely hope to return again. Thank You.

Enjoy Vermont at it best for all four seasons. The Maple Leaf is perfectly clean and welcoming. We stayed two nights in May 2014 for our wedding anniversary. The inn is very close to Woodstock & Quechee, there is plenty to see and do. The grounds are beautiful and there's great walking, hiking, jogging, bicycling, canoeing right outside the door. All the rooms are spacious & perfectly clean. We stayed in the Winterhaven room and enjoyed the jacuzzi tub late into the night. The rooms are insulated enough that you feel you have the house to yourselves. Nancy & Mike are the greatest hosts ever. They know just exactly how to make you feel at home from the moment they greet you at the door. They are organized and meticulously clean. They have perfected every detail to maximize their guests comfort. The best of the best 5 star resorts have nothing on them, go and see for yourselves and enjoy !

Room Tip: The top floor rooms have plenty of headroom. All the rooms are spacious and quiet. We chose Winterha...

For my first trip to Vermont, I hit the jackpot at the Maple Leaf Inn. I was there for six days--taking a class at the nearby King Arthur Baking school. Nancy and Mike are the most gracious hosts. Everything was first rate--beautiful guest rooms with luxury furnishings and fireplace, incredible gourmet breakfasts, idyllic setting, and delightful, welcoming innkeepers. They offered excellent recommendations for dinner options and for various local sights. The surrounding area was beautiful, and this location is great whether you want to sightsee, explore the countryside, or relax and de-stress at the inn. I highly recommend a stay at the Maple Leaf Inn.

Room Tip: All the rooms are terrific, with beautiful views. Most have fireplaces but ask if that is important...

My husband and I stayed at the Maple Leaf Inn for our anniversary. This was the third time we celebrated our anniversary with a getaway and we prefer Bed & Breakfast Inns to chain hotels. Of our three experiences with bed & breakfasts, the Maple Leaf was by far the best. Owners Mike & Nancy were exceptionally warm and friendly and went over and above when it came to making us feel at "home"...but without the responsibilities. We will definitely return!
