Great coffee for the sophisticated palate. I like simple regular coffee and that is wonderful too. Muffins, and scones are freshly made.

This coffee shop was a serendipitous find in Barre. Their coffee is "top shelf" quality, but nearly 50% cheaper than comparable chain coffee shops. We hit this place 3 to 4 times during our short stay. I had the maple latte and it was so delicious; highly recommended! The latte foam art toped off the whole experience. Comfortable seating - indoors and out. Would come back here if ever in the Barre area again.

This place has good service and even better scones. Plenty of indoor seating and a few outdoor cafe tables.

This is really only adult / mature relaxing coffee shop in this town...trying to rate is difficult when the competition is 2 towns over. Being from a big city it was definitely a necessity to have the basics from an Internet cafe: wireless is available (check) and a relaxing environment to get work done(check). The coffee is fresh and hot and I have been here many times over years, but it is dissapointing that there is No REAL FOOD besides pastries: I'm on a gluten free lifestyle as quite a few people are... It would be nice to see a menu with a facelift. They are usually pleasant besides the owner who I view to be pretensious. (she stares at people sometimes it's kind of awkward. They have newspapers there, and very busy from the locals who choose real coffee over dunkin dirtys. I am an avid coffee drinker and if you like dark roast and options try this place for that

Excellent coffee. May I say I love both sides of Vermont, both the "real Vermonters" and the "Flatlander types." There's nothing better than one of those rundown gas station/junkfood stores with warmish dull coffee and conversations about fishing, weather and what'shername. Equally good is the other type of coffee shop, where the coffee is fresh and hot, deep and strong and the conversation is about art, politics and Namibia. You know what I mean. Espresso Bueno is of the second kind (the name kind of tips you off). In the middle of Barre (home to thousands of real Vermonters) it sits like a Siamese cat in the middle of a pack of coon hounds.

Spectacular coffee.
