Barton is a very low key, quiet town and really no completion to speak of in the restaurant arena. That said...these guys do a real nice job at breakfast! A multi-room older home converted into a quaint little restaurant...these guys have a nice local following. There were 4 of us and we all ordered a little something different - everything came out timely, fresh and was prepared well. Breakfast can be pretty straight forward but really no complaints...their coffee especially seemed memorable (sounds silly but it was!). Their waitress was bright-eyed and bushy tailed and pleasant to chat with.
They open nice and early (5am) so for the real early birds its a nice option and pricing very fair - i'd go back without a second thought. Give them a try...

Looking for a favorite local hangout with exceptional home style food, then join us at the Parson's Corner! Our favorites here include their veggie omelet and blueberry pancakes (one takes up the whole plate) with real maple syrup. We like sitting at their counter, enjoying the company of some the regulars, their hostess and visiting with chef/owner David Rath. David sources almost all of his ingredients from local producers and growers! We hope to see you there sometime.

Specials on the board and good regular selections. Be aware that it is closed on Tuesdays -- and is only open 5 am to 2:30.

I have to be fair. We haven't ate in this place, because they were closed when we arrived from a short visit to Canada. We were going back to our hotel in North Conway, NH, and were starving, so we followed the signs on the road and found the litlle restaurant. As I said, they were closed, but they were so extremely nice that they really looked for giving us something, but they were just cleaning the kitchen, so it wasn't possible. But, very kindly (and perhaps a little bit distressed for not being able to do something else) they gave us directions to the little chinese restaurant within short distance, also in the town.

I'm sure that, if they can be so kind with total strangers, they can also be great hosts and have great food. If we have the opportunity to be in Barton again, we will go to this restaurant, although we will try to arrive on time for lunch!

P.S. By the way, the chinese food was very good, thank you very much!
