Four of us stopped in for lunch - - almost thought they were closed because the first two doors we tried were locked, but eventually found our way inside - - and were glad that we did. We ordered burgers and sandwiches, nothing special, but we did enjoy the "build your own burger" menu. Our waitress (Jamie, I think) was superb. She helped us out with the menu and burger choices, answered a bunch of questions from our guests (visitors from Europe), and was attentive throughout the meal, refilling coffee and soda glasses and checking on whether our food was OK and if we wanted anything else. Three of us chose to have dessert, and thoroughly enjoyed that as well - - Friendly's ice cream is so much better than anything you can get in the store (and in some other ice cream shops, I might add). Overall, a great experience (much of it due to Jamie) that inspired us to visit two other Friendly's in the following week.
