“Must Stop in Brattleboro”
Reviewed 8 April 2013

It is easy to pass by this restaurant while driving into or out of Brattleboro, VT. Do not make this mistake; in fact go out of your way and treat yourself to delicious food at this Mayan Mexican restaurant. There were four of us so we sampled the menu with tortillas (made fresh daily) with mixed toppings, empanadas, tamales and a rice and bean plate. All were well flavored but we did ask for hot sauce and were given three levels of heat. The hottest was truly HOT. Their home made sangria helped extinguish the heat. We left happy and very satisfied.

“Another lovely meal”
Reviewed 29 March 2013

Love the food, the atmosphere and running into friends after a long snowy winter hibernating in the hills. The staff is gracious and the Boca Negra chocolate dessert (with a spicy kick) is not to be missed. Go often!

“Different cuisine”
Reviewed 17 January 2013

This is not your run of the mill Mexican joint, the cuisine is regional and our meal was excellent. We returned and will go back again on our next trip. Place is tiny but colorfully decorated, service good and food delicious.

“Don't be deceived by the facade”
Reviewed 5 January 2013

It would be easy to pass by Three Stones as the building offers nothing by which to draw customers in. However, you would miss the outstanding cuisine found inside. My wife and I visited the other night and found dinner to be a treat. The seating is limited and we did not have reservations on a busy evening but they found a way to get us in. We ordered some entrees, drinks and a dessert to share and it was all flavorful and very well prepared. The restaurant boasts to be authentic Mayan food. Having visted Guatemala twice, I can say that it very much is true to claim, but with its own special touch that elevates the food to an exceptional level.

“Oh so good, and right down the road!”
Reviewed 24 November 2012

We'd read reviews of this place before moving just down the road, and couldn't wait to try it. It really was everything that people raved about: Cute, cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, and delicious (and authentic) food. I also tried a glass of sangria, and it was fruity and probably the best I've had. We will definitely be recommending this place to everyone who will listen!
