We travel Routes 2/91/9 several times a year and wanted a different place to grab a quick lunner (lunch-dinner). Got off at Route 5 instead of Route 9 to see what other options were available and came across Champs. Had three perfectly tasty sandwiches and loved the French fries and sweet-potato fries. We will visit again.

We have eaten there a few times already & one was there Pizza, man it was one of the best I have had in a very long time, the crust is home made, the sause is home made.We had a lot of fixings on it & it was very filling. We have also had the burgers, and fries, and the steak, & steak tibits on another visit. We plan to go there a lot. Plus now they have delivery to which I was happy to hear. The updating is not the greatest from a few previous owners but still you go for the food & service. The ownwe has always been very nice & the people that work there to. It's kind of like the Old Jad's good food at reasonable prices. But again have to say their Pizza compared to the others is the best we will never again have to order a pizza from one of the other places that have gone down hill really bad. So I'm giving Champs food 5 star rating!!

We needed to eat a quick, simple meal late at night. Many things were closed in the area. We grabbed a quick burger, grill cheese and fries, and a huge plate of Nachos with all the works. Not for the health conscious, though they do have a huge menu with healthy meals included.

We had an excellent dinner here on our way from central VT to CT. Both our meals were delicious, good portions, good prices, friendly service. We will definitely eat here again!

My family and I (we are from CT and come to the area often) figured that we would try Champs for the first time just recently. It was terrible. The owner, or who we presumed was the owner, was extremely foul mouthed and vulgar. Not a very welcoming attitude and felt more like we were at a bar than a family diner. We could over hear the cooks in the back complaining about the customers in the front with the kitchen door open. Our waitress, cant remember her name, (tall with dark hair) was very pleasant. accomadated our needs as best she could. always had a smile. we won't be returning unfortunately. dont bring your children in here unless you want them swearing and cursing along with the owner!!!
