Owner description: Located on the banks of the Ottauquechee River, our brewery and brew pub offers a seasonally rotating menu featuring locally-sourced ingredients and beer fresh from the source. On tap we have more than a dozen beers including our year-round staples, seasonal selections and limited releases. Look for super-limited, small batch brews from our Farmhouse Ales series brewed in our farmhouse-turned-pilot-brewing facility and exclusively available in our pub & restaurant. When the weather warms up, grab a seat at our riverside deck or dip your toes in the water and go with the flow.
Useful Information: Bathroom facilities, Food available for purchase

I have eaten here many times. The beers range from pretty good to mediocre compared to other breweries I visit. Double Bag is excellent and they had new Farmhouse Ale which they balance out the tartness with a drop or two of maple syrup...pretty good. The bacon burgers we had were really decent but NOT as good as they used to be so... The worst part was the VERY long wait for a table (inside or out) even though there were many tables. I think they were understaffed. Plus, for a brewery/restaurant the bathroom availability is rock bottom.

We bought some nice beers that unfortunately we can't get back home. We camped at Coolidge and it was great to come here everyday for our beer run. Lunch is nice with beautiful stream you can walk down to. This is irrelevant, but why do they call the coleslaw with two little shreds of kale " kale slaw?" Haha, fortunately we didn't come for the kale slaw. Love the Pumpkin Imperial!

If you are anywhere within 50 miles of the Long Trail Brewery and have the time, don't miss out on the great food being served here. We were on a "scenic route" from Burlington to Woodstock and stopped for lunch. My wife had the grilled chicken sandwich and I had the monster BLT. Both were mounds above average tavern fare and in my case the best BLT I have ever had - served on a freshly baked Kaiser bun and loaded with thick slices of perfectly cooked bacon. Our servers (all of them stopped to check on us throughout the meal) were happy to substitute onion rings in lieu of fries. In this case I would warn readers they will get a huge order of onion "straws" rather than a few standard rings, and an additional small charge (well worth paying). The setting of the brewery is like a countryside inn, overlooking the Ottauqueechee River. A more picturesque scene could not be found!! Oh... and the beer wasn't bad either! All in all a first class establishment not to be missed.

A very cool brewery to visit. When you walk into the self guided tour, you're immediately hit with the smell of hops - you know it's a real brewery! Everyone is friendly, and the beer is great.

After spending the morning hiking Okemo Mtn. and a quick trip to the Green Mountain Sugar House we opted for lunch at the Long Trail Brewing Company. Tables outside have a view of a small river and the food and beer was delicious! The Bratwurst and BLT sandwiches were particularly good.

After enjoying our lunch, we took the self guided tour of the brewery operations and were lucky enough to meet the brewmaster and sample the Pumpkin Beer that was just bottled. We then headed riverside, took off our shoes and spent nearly an hour wading through the water.

What a wonderful afternoon and definitely worth the visit!
