We travelled to Vermont for foliage and more then anything this B&B made our trip unforgettable. It was our first stay at B&B so we did not actually know what to expect.
When we arrived it was already dark and the place was kind of ghostly (even though there were these little lamps at each of the window) but that’s what we actually liked about it. It was so much different from hotel or resort. The place was furnished with antiques and it looked truly unique. We felt a bit like traveling back in time to a distant kin from a century ago. We were welcomed by superb nice innkeepers.
There was no TV and no key to the rooms (however you could lock the room from the inside). We stayed in the room with whirlpool and it proved to be a great choice after a long day of hiking.
The breakfast was HEAVENLY. I would argue that this place if not for the location is worth visit for the experience of this exceptional breakfast.
The Crystal Palace is a short stroll from the main street of the small town so you can enjoy the proximity of eating out in a decent restaurant.
