You can't beat this locale for proximity to the lake and easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. Their website claims to be the only full service hotel on the lake but as we pulled up to the entrance the bell stand was unoccupied and there was a piece of construction equipment blocking the circular driveway. We got out of the car and headed to the desk to check in and get directions on where to park.
We had a room on the 7th floor (two queen beds) with a view of magnificent Lake Champlain. Overall the room was well appointed, however, these were some of the most uncomfortable beds we have encountered in years of hotel travel. Lumpy, hard and in need of replacement. An in room refrigerator would have been welcome as well. As I ambled around the hotel during my stay I noticed some rather tired looking chairs and tables in the lobby and on guest room floors. The staff aimed to please especially at the front desk and in the restaurant. Overall we were pleased with the hotel, mainly due to the location.

Pleasant with amenities we did not have time to use. Location was good with nice view of the Lake. No negatives but nothing exceptional. It's certainly a do it yourself facility. That really okay by us and I'd do it again.

We stayed for 1 night during foliage season, requesting a king, lakeview on a high level. The room was as requsted on the 7th floor overlooking Lake Champlain with a beautiful view. Our room was updated and very comfortable with a large fairly new flat screened TV. We did wish the room was a little larger and that a mini refridgerator was provided.
The hotel is only a couple of blocks away from the Church St area which is loaded with shops and restaurants most of which have outside dining. There is also free shuttle buses that stop on a corner very near the hotel.
We also had breakfast in the restaurant which was excellent. The buffet as well as the menu has many local Vermont products. The maple sausages were the best I ever have had. Service also very good.
You won't go wrong at this hotel.

Had a great stay here. Would have been a 5, expect for their nickel and diming add ons for things that most hotels include.

The hotel is very nice, the views of Lake Champlain absolutely to die for. The room was very, very nice: great linens, fabulous desk chair and huge TV. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant is better than most hotel restaurants, featuring produce and meat and cheese from local suppliers.

The location is adjacent to Lake Champlain and a beautfiul lakefront park, with bike paths and running trails. Very walkable to beautiful downtown Burlington. Lots of great restaurants.

They also nickel and dime like crazy! Internet is 12.95 per night--way out of step with other hotels. Who doesn't need internet in their room. It's kinda like a baggage charge on airlines--but one you cant avoid!

Pet-friendly, but also starting to be out of step with other similar hotels--$35.00 per night for your pet!

And be aware, too, that there is a $10 charge for parking--that they dont dislose when you make a reservation!

So--good stay--but pretty expensive for value when you add it all up!

Room Tip: Ask for a Lakefront room. Avoid low floors on the non-lake side (view of parking garage and sound o...

This hotel has stunning views over Lake Champlain. It's clean, staff are friendly and it's super convenient. If you are going to Burlington then it's a great place to stay. Good breakfasts. We didn't use the spa but it looked very good. Parking was very convenient, next to the hotel in the public car park with a reasonable hotel day parking rate.

Select this hotel for proximity to Lake Champlain and indoor pool. Nothing to disappoint here!

Rooms and services are high quality with an au courant flair. Staff is unfailingly pleasant and responsive. Food service is pricey but spares walking up the hill or getting in the car, so is a good option for tired travelers.
Pool water is warm; area is clean and well maintained.
Highly recommend this hotel when you visit Burlington!

Room Tip: Ask for high floor - 4 plus, with lake view

Our recent visit to Burlington was highlighted by our stay at this hotel. Opening the drapes in the morning started the day off beautifully too. It's in a perfect spot to allow you to park the car and walk to any number of great restaurants as well as shopping on Church Street. We will definitely be staying there again even after our grandson has graduated from Saint Michael's. Great place!
