Our visit to Vermont was October 2013. I had many questions about restaurants, the area and found this B and B staff to be accommodating and helpful before we arrived and during our stay. Excellent breakfast, Clean, Free parking, easy walk or drive to dining and downtown Burlington. We are recommending this lovely 2 story Lang House to friends today for their trip to Vermont! Very close to Shelburne Museum and Farm do not miss either!!

Room Tip: We stayed upstairs in the outside building....cannot remember the name. Would want this room again, more private, morning coffee waiting just downstairs in the foyer without going to the main house.

Lovers of B&B's will enjoy this place. The woodwork is just amazing . Excellent staff took care of every need. Breakfasts here were possibly the best we have ever had. Perfect location and good free parking.

Nice and helpful staff, excellent breakfast. We stayed only for one night, but we will certainly stay at the Long house again if we come back to Burlington. The inn was beautifully furnished and clean.

Wonderful, from booking, to arrival, to room, to breakfast, to staff, to comfort, to location, to check-out!!! Stay here:)
Found this place online, called and quickly sealed the deal. We stayed in the Allen Room and it was delightful ---- clean and comfortable for sure. Only about 30 minute walk to Lake Champlain, and lots of great eating/shopping on the way.
Staff was super friendly and the entire place smelled constantly of delicious food! Again, stay here!

We recently spent 3 nights in the Van Ness room at the Lang House. It's a third floor room which we chose knowing we'd have to walk the stairs (no elevator) as we were enchanted by the lake-view offered. The view didn't disappoint and it was nice having the extra window alcove to sit in. The bed and room were very comfortable...the decor I think needed a little help...the wood furniture felt a little more worn then rustic...the water pressure in the shower a little lower than I'd have liked.

The real star of the B&B is the breakfast and the staff. Everyone we encountered over our three nights was super-sweet and friendly...from check in to serving staff at breakfast. The meals were great...very good coffee...tea and coffee always available...juices and prepared to order meals - you get to choose between their sweet or savory option...both offer meat (though we're vegetarians...) and fruit as accompaniments. And every meal begins with a baked good started...we experienced popovers, muffins and scones while were there.

They also put out a freshly baked treat every night for you to have when you return to your room. The first night it was a maple sugar cookie. I will be dreaming about this cookie for many nights.

The location is okay. Burlington is not very large but this is just at the top edge of downtown (heading away from the lake.) The walk into town is easy...a little bit further to the lake front...all downhill...but on the way back it's up a steep hill so you may not like that. We enjoyed the exercise so this location didn't bother us at all.

Free parking on site is a plus.

Loved the fresh springwater water dispensers on every floor...always full day or night.

We'd be happy to stay here again.
