Description: Best bagels ever. This is a one man shop. It was amazing.

These are the closest bagels to the ones they make in Montreal I have found. For the record, Montreal Style Bagels are boiled in Honey water and baked in a wood fired oven. This unique treatment makes the Smokey-Sweet. The folks here make great sandwiches as well.

This place opens at 4 am! Love to sit with my good coffee and fresh chewy bagel. Very nice staff. The bagels are the best! The montreal spice is exceptional. The butternut squash donuts were great too. Looks like a hole in the wall but so neat inside. You watch them make the bagels while you hang out to ecclectic music.

Myers made the most delicious Montreal-style bagels. Favorites were the Montreal Spice bagel and the Sunflower Seed/Sesame Seed bagel. The bagels used to be on the thin side, not doughy and loaded with the taste of wood-fired baked honey. Now they are twice as thick, have fewer seeds and are almost dull. New owners need to go back to the fabulous bagels the shop once produced. If they want to make a thicker, plain bagel as one option, especially for those who want them, fine. But please give us back those lovely, sensational bagels. Also, the price is truly too high per bagel--way too high-- at over $1 a piecel.

Bagels in Vermont. Hands down. The owner is always there personally making every one over an open fire.

It has become very popular. Happily they have a few more players now, and the interior is quite nice. The exterior? Don't ask! Let's just say that it's very, very Vermont!

Incredible bagels!! My wife and I agreed......maybe the best bagel we have ever had and we have had bagels from coast to coast. I had never had a wood fired bagel but we will be having more!!
