“Looked nice but...”
Reviewed 10 June 2013 via mobile

We were a party of six wanting to have have dinner. We were received by a sweet young hostess who took us to a table, gave us the menus, and that was it. Nobody came to take the order and with two children in the group that were cranky, we just left and nobody even bothered to ask why we were leaving. It wasn't crowded; so, the only explanation I can think about is that the waiters wanted to leave soon and weren't excited about waiting on a party of six. We just went to another place nearby where we were well treated.

“Nice meal in a great town”
Reviewed 20 May 2013

Went for dinner with a party of 7 Saturday night before graduation. Had a great meal, our waitress Michelle was very accomadating without being overbearing. Everyone in our party enjoyed our food and drink! Very good prices and loved sitting inside but having the windows open! Will definetly go back again.

“Average food and slow service”
Reviewed 30 April 2013

We were at the Scuffer during a slow time, just after brunch had finished. We were denied the brunch fries, but then we saw they served them to someone else. The food was OK, but nothing special. We had to consistently look for the waitress, as she would constantly forget about us.

“Great lobster rolls”
Reviewed 28 April 2013

Had the lobster roll, not too huge not too small. Sweet succulent meat, light dressing, best I have had outside of Maine. Price was pretty good. Front windows open like garage doors, great for warm days, outside seating and right in the middle of things. I'll go back

“Great steaks”
Reviewed 10 April 2013

We go out a lot. We went to the Scuffer with a two for one. We both had the 12 oz. NY strip steak, medium rare. Both came out perfect. I had brussels sprouts and fries as my sides. Yes, brussels sprouts! They were great. My wife had a small salad and asparagus. They were fine. The vodka martini's were a little steep at $8.00 per. The atmosphere is nothing special. It can be a little noisy as people go there to drink and socialize. They could use a little more light in the back where the rest rooms are. We were sitting in the front by the windows and my eyes were used to the sunlight. I also most could not find my way when trying to navigate to the rest room. Service by our Scottish born waiter Evan was prompt and polite. We would go again.
