Spent a delightful four night mini-vacation at Nancy and Ralph's wonderful B&B. Beautifully decorated rooms, comfortable beds with luxurious bedding, gourmet breakfasts and comfortable sitting areas indoors, on the covered porch, and by the pool make for a great place to relax and wind down. We have stayed here many times, both as a couple and with family and friends, and look forward to our next visit. The high ratings garnered by Applewood Manor are well-deserved - it is truly a gem!

Room Tip: All of the rooms are lovely - each one is unique. Check out the website for pictures and descriptio...

Applewood is my destination when I am working in the area; as I have three summers in a row. I always enjoy a luxurious night's sleep, a gourmet breakfast, lazy afternoons on the pretty porch, and a cool dip in the pool when it's warm out. Nancy and Ralph couldn't be warmer, more concerned with my comfort, or fun to be around. I love Applewood Manor!

Room Tip: Each room's unique characteristics are a pleasure to stay in.

We had a wonderful stay here, Nancy was a delightful host. Ralph made a breakfast to please everyone during our stay. Especially enjoyed the pool to refresh ourselves after a long drive. So many places to relax indoors or out. My only wish would have been a larger garbage pail, the one they provided was "doll house" size

Room Tip: We stayed in the "Sarah" room, if you aren't a sound sleeper pick a room upstairs

Had a fine brief stay at Applewood Manor. Nancy could not have been more helpful. I did not have a car. As promised, I could get a very dinner at very good independent restaurant that was an easy walk from the inn. Very comfortable bedroom, delicious breakfast. Nancy even drove me to the Castleton train station for my trip home.

We had a wonderful stay at Applewood Manor June 21 and 22, 2013. The inn is charming, the bed was wonderfully comfortable, the gardens were beautiful, and the breakfasts were delicious. Nancy was a delight to talk with and was the perfect hostess.

Stayed for three nights at this beautiful B&B in June during our three week visit to New England.Nancy and Ralph are great hosts and take and obvious pride in their wonderful home,it really is a lovely place to stay.It was nice to return in the late afternoon and sit by the pool, relax, read and simply just chill.Nancy brought a cooling drink as soon as we arrived back.It is so relaxing, peaceful and welcoming.
Our bedroom was simply beautilful, wonderfully furnished. The bed is huge and comfy, the bathroom is gorgeous and large. It is the ideal place to stay for the Rutland area,we were at Fort Ti in 45 minutes.
Ralph's breakfasts are freshly cooked and gorgeous,a perfect start to the day. Both Nancy and Ralph went above and beyond to provde a perfect service, whether it was helping with trips and eateries or providing us with camping chairs to go see the "concert on the green" on the Thursday evening. All in all a wonderful place to stay, has to be on your list if you are travelling from the UK or anywhere. Thanks to you both.

This is lovely B&B in a charming Vermont town. The owners, Nancy & Ralph, have paid a great deal of attention to every detail. We were there in July, when the flowers were blooming and the little pool was an ideal way to cool down in the late afternoon. The rooms are impecably furnished with antiques and beautiful linens. We slept very well and awoke to a delicious breakfast. Nancy & Ralph can tell you about things to do in the area (the Rodeo on Saturday night was fabulous) and will make you feel right at home. I can imagine that it would be equally wonderul in the winter.
