One of the things we wanted to do while traveling through Vermont, was to see a real Maple Syrup Farm. Boy did we find a gem. The Baird Farm is an organic, family run Maple Syrup Farm that has been around since 1918. Jenna, who helps run the operation, couldn’t have been nicer in giving us the tour and tasting. It was very interesting. And we hope you win the pumpkin contest.

Coming back from Killington and skiing, we diverted off the main road because of a sign directing us to the Baird Maple Syrup Farm. Thank God we saw it. If you're up that way make it a point to go there. New, clean, neat and well stocked with everything maple. We picked up 2 gallons of sweet goodness. Made the trip that more special.

We stopped here during our fall vacation after looking up the best place to find maple syrup. We were greeted by jenna and she gave us the history of the farm and the process of making maple syrup. It was very interesting. So glad we took the time to visit. We are floridians

My boyfriend wanted to tour a "real" maple farm when we went to Vermont. We saw the signs on several roads and followed them to find this fabulous farm. We were so fortunate that Mr. Baird was in the shop and had a wonderful discussion with him. We purchased a few things and he was kind enough to show my boyfriend a small tour and explain how everything worked. This was truly a huge highlight of our trip. Thank you so very much!!!

The Baird farm is above and beyond the most beautiful farm in Vermont. Bonnie, Bob, Jenna and Jacob maintain the property meticulously. Their maple syrup is certainly their most tasty offer, but the farm also has cows. As you drive up West Road the sugar bush surrounds you in sweeping hills. The sun sets over the ever changing foliage. Having visited throughout the year the scene is ever breathtaking weather glistening in frost or in flames of red and orange. Jenna and Jacob live across the road where they tend to their volumous garden and climbing hops. There is always someone there to great you warmly, sometimes even with fresh cookies or blueberry pancakes as I was lucky enough to encounter. Baird Farm is a must see destination for any traveler coming through Vermont. It's especially fun to check out the sugar shack!
