“Simply wonderful!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 February 2013

We recently completed our Inn to Inn Cross-Country Ski adventure at the beautiful Fox Creek Inn. From the moment we arrived, Susan welcomed us into her lovely Inn and made us feel right at home. From the scrumptious food to the warm fireplace and luxurious soaker tub, we were pampered beyond belief! Our time at Fox Creek proved to be relaxing and refreshing. Thank you, Susan!

This is a wonderful place to stay. Please note that it is under new ownership as of around November 2012, so any comments about owners prior to that time are no longer relevant. Susan, the present owner is a wonderful and gracious host. The condition of the inn, including common spaces and the guest rooms is immaculate and the breakfasts were great.

The inn is only a few minutes from the Mountain Top cross country ski area and restaurant so this is an ideal place for cross country skiing in the winter.

I strongly recommend this inn. I have stayed at many B&B's around New England and this is one of the best.

The Fox Creek Inn is the quintessential New England Inn- picturesquely situated near a brook in the Vermont countryside, beautifully decorated, and very warm and inviting. The innkeeper, Susan, recently acquired the inn but seemed like an old pro. She made us feel right at home. The room was lovely and the food was delicious. The inn is very well situated for a variety of activities- it's quite close to the Mountain Top Nordic Ski and Snowshoe Center and we spent a day there snowshoeing through the beautiful Vermont woods. We also spent an afternoon in nearby Brandon enjoying the artist community there. It's close to Killington if you're looking for downhill skiing. We hated to leave.

Room Tip: We got to peek into all the rooms, and there wasn't a bad one in the bunch.

My partner and I had a lovely stay at the Fox Creek Inn. Upon arrival we were greeted by Susan, who immediately made us feel welcome. The inn is pure Vermont--quaint and cozy with a warm fireplace and a player piano! The food was delicious, and we enjoyed relaxing with coffee and a book beside the fire. We can't wait to return.

The Fox Creek Inn is simply magical. Every vista from every room is pure Vermont Greeting Card charming. The Inn is beautiful inside as well, you want to cuddle up with a good book in each room. Our hostess Susan was so warm and welcoming and a delightful conversationalist. She catered to our every need. Delicious hot Vermont cider and hors d'oeuvres in the late afternoon, a fabulous dinner in the evening with great company and a scrumptious breakfast in the morning. No one in our family of five wanted to leave. We hope to return one day. Wish it wasn't so far from California! Thank Susan for a perfect stay.

Room Tip: All our rooms were just right!

My husband and I enjoyed a splendid stay over the New Year at the Fox Creek Inn. The inn's new owner was warm and welcoming and made us feel right at home. We had a large and lovely room complete with its own gas log fireplace. Like all of the guest rooms here, our room was charming and beautifully decorated. The public rooms also were attractive and inviting.

The Fox Creek Inn is in a quiet location yet is not far from downhill and cross country skiing and antique stores and other attractions. We're already planning a return trip to this special spot during the fall leaf season. If you're looking for accommodations that capture what Vermont is all about, The Fox Creek Inn will not disappoint.

Room Tip: Request a room with a gas log fireplace.

Wonderful place, very warm and comfortable off the beaten path and in a beautiful area. We arrived to a welcoming atmosphere making us feel special and relaxed. The dinner Chef Bob prepared was a wonderful experience. A fresh crisp salad helped start the meal followed by a delicious stuffed chicken breast with sharp provolone wrapped with finely sliced ham baked to perfection. The delicious green beans were finely sautéed in olive oil a touch of bacon topped of with a splash of red wine. This was balanced out with Arborio Risotto cooked with a touch of parmesan cheese. The pride and expertise put into this meal alone was worth driving many miles, well worth it. The welcoming relaxed atmosphere, the exquisite bedrooms with fireplaces and Jacuzzi tubs, the manicured grounds, hiking and cross country ski trails and the close proximity to ski hills like Killington and Pico make this a wonderful year round getaway. We thoroughly enjoyed our visits here and will continue to visit. Thank you again, Frederick and Tracy

Room Tip: we enjoy room 4 and 8 immensly
