Monday is Trivia Night, which means a great $15 burger and draft beer special to power up your brain, followed by trivia with a room full of good natured goofballs. Creativity counts in your answers and plenty of fun is had by all. Check out their dessert menu!

6 of us went for a birthday dinner. The food was great (we had 4 appetizers, 6 entrees, 7 dessert) and the drinks were awesome (including Hill Farmstead beer on tap)! Poutine, tomato salad with smoked mozzarella, rainbow trout, and Germain chocolate cake to name a few.
The prices are considerably lower than Chittenden country.
The place was packed, but we had reservations. They have a bar you can eat at, or have a drink while you wait.
I will be going back!

Don't miss Thursday "smoke" night. Every Thursday the special is meat that's been smoked in the outside smoker. Honestly, the best chicken I've ever had was served at Claire's. Juicy with a cherry, smoked flavor. I've also had smoked ribs and grilled fish- all were wonderful.

We went there a couple of years ago, but they wouldn't serve us because they said we didn't have a reservation, though at the time there was few customers in the room. Just a not to trip advisor that Claire's is not 4.2 miles from Village restaurant, but is in fact "right across the street".
So we haven't eaten there yet, but have heard good things about them.

Were there 3 times in 3 days! Better than any restaurant Boston offers. The incredibly beautiful ingredients were prepared in the most amazingly tasteful ways. And we tried many items over three visits. Thrilled with every choice. Wish this place and it's people great success. Wish we could get one of these near us! Will add that Hardwick and it's region are breathtakingly wonderful.
