I'm near the end of a nearly week long stay at Killington and Trail Creek. Biggest complaint is with the mountain's guest services and lift pass policy. If you want to buy a multiple day pass for your vacation, the mountain only offers consecutive day passes, and if if it happens to be raining buckets on one of those days ... their attitude to me was that I was out of luck. I didn't want a refund. I only want a voucher to try and use my pass on the next day ... but 'that's not their policy.' Despite the nearly thousand $$$ I was spending at their properties. Felt like I was living an episode of Seinfeld ... and I was George. Not exactly what I'm looking for from my vacation.
The condo itself is Ok. Spacious albeit a bit dated with a bland interior. But that's to be expected. Biggest complaint would be the cheap uncomfortable matress and bedding.
Because of the 'policy' of the mountain guest services, I don't expect Killington to be spending my time at Killington again anytime soon ..
there are too many good mountains nearby. If I somehow do return, there's not a snowball's chance I'll be purchasing the multi-day pass.
And if the rain turns to snow tonight ... tomorrow it's hello Okemo!
