Description: In the heart of Killington, Vermont, on the banks of the Summit Pond, lies The Foundry. This new addition to the Access Road provides the best in cuisine, entertainment, activities, and scenery! The Foundry offers two menus, an American Bistro-Style menu in the dining room, and a Tavern menu in the bar. The atmosphere of the dining room will surround you with warmth and relaxation, but feel free to keep the party going in the Tavern where we will offer live entertainment a few nights a week. Look forward to year-round activities on the pond, from ice skating and skate rentals this winter, to paddle boat races and Foundry Fly Dogs in the summer! Our outdoor seating will be heated, and open this winter, so come grab a chair and enjoy some of the best views in Killington!

Don't bother. 11 dollar house wine, 7 dollar side of fries, an overall debacle. Looks like daddy's money will run out soon

Joel,

Thank you for taking the time to make the Foundry your first and only review on trip advisor. We do hope that you will continue to be a worthy contributor on trip advisor.

For your knowledge. We have many pour wines available by the glass. Our house pour is not $11 as you quoted, but that of $8.50. Most likely you ordered something in a higher tier. Our sides of fries are a basket full of fries, that are portioned to feed a group of people not simply for one person. Many times they are included with the cost of an entree. Case in point, a burger and fries only costs $12.

We will attempt to reach you personally to make sure you are invited back to return to The Foundry. We are confident that your next experience will be far better than your first.

Although we phoned ahead to make a reservation, they could not accommodate our group (10), which was extremely disappointing. The restaurant was very nice though, and we all found the food to be the best we had for our weekend visit

I've been to many mountains in VT and therefore have experienced some of the best meals each location has to offer. This was the best by far (next up Harry's in Okemo). After a 7 hour day on the slopes I ate the most amazing lobster dinner I've ever had. The juiciest and most meaty & non-tough lobster. A 2 1/2 lb lobster shared between two for $39 on their specials for the evening. Can't beat that! Also, the wine tasting they had on the side added to the whole night. Found a great table wine that they sold nearby and picked up a few bottles for when hosting when in NYC. This place is guaranteed to please. PLUS! - you'll not have the 2 hour wait for some other places including the Wobbly Barn...

Stopped here for dinner with my husband and kids. It was the first night of our short ski vacation and we wanted a nice dinner. This place was perfect. Warm, comfortable and really good food. I would definitely recommend it.

We enjoyed the beautiful Vermont Mountain decor, as much as the delicious food and drinks at the Foundry this past week. The bar area is spacious, with walls of windows that allow for beautiful views of the pond, mountains and old gristmill. The dining room has a magnificent stone fireplace and the tables are set beautifully with white linen tablecloths and soft candlelight. From the appetizers to the main courses, we were very pleased and will return again while skiing at Killington.
