On holiday from France, spent three days in that wonderful B&B in the Vermont Green Mountains.
The innkeeper was most welcoming and helped us in anything we wanted.
The place is ideally situated, very clean, and breakfast was one of the best US breakfasts you could imagine.
We'll be back if we can.

We stopped here for a rainy summer night with our little children and my in-laws. We loved the place already from the parking lot. Our host was welcoming, generous and helpful, the rooms were cozy and comfortable, and the common rooms are beautiful and relaxing. Breakfast was superb, including the home-made banana bread!
Only thing to add would be a coffee maker. Other than that, the place offers a microwave and a refrigerator for its guests, which we found very helpful.

Room Tip: We'd asked and were given two rooms with a connecting door.

Staying at Snowed Inn in August was a great experience! The Innkeepers are so knowledgable about the area and gave us many suggestions about activities that pleased off 9 of us, The Inn was a great place to play with friends as we could be together in the common areas when we wanted to and also have some private time in our great bedroom. Breakfast was yummy, plentiful and available on our schedule. I am not a skier, so I loved experienceing Vermont in the summer when it is so green.

More than a lovely getaway, the Snowed Inn in Killington, VT is a rare find in today’s commercial landscape. First impression? It has heart. It’s beautiful, outside and inside. From the beautifully maintained exterior and grounds to our well-appointed and immaculate room, we felt the personal touch invested in making our stay comfortable and enjoyable in every way. Topped off with just the right amount of genuine hospitality, we found the inn to be warm and welcoming in the most respectful way. We would have liked to stay longer than the three days we had, but it’s on our list to come back to, even though it’s a long trip from Colorado.

My boyfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our weekend at the Snowed Inn. The Inn was well situated and near restaurants although it felt secluded. Our room was spotless and well appointed and the public areas of the Inn, inside and out, were just as well tended. There were several wholesome and tasty choices for breakfast which we got to choose and prepare (waffles). The owner was also very personable and warm and he made us feel welcome from the minute we set foot there. We would definitely recommend this property to all and are planning to return should we go back to Killington.

After visiting Killington over the past 30+ years we finally discovered the Snowed Inn. This is a treasure of a B&B in an excellent location just off Killington Road (but far enough off so there is no traffice noise). For a summer visit the patio and gazebo were enjoyable both morning and evening as were the lounge and breakfast room. The owners were very accommodating to our accessibility needs. Actually they were quite personable and a pleasure to engage in conversation. Prices were competitive and the bed room spacious, comfortable and as clean as it gets. One suggestion I would make: switch to down pillows. Were I to visit Killington in the winter, I would not at all mind being Snowed Inn.

Room Tip: Some rooms have fireplaces: nice in fall or winter.

I am happy to write that after 6 hrs and two days on the computer I found the Snowed Inn Bed and Breakfast in Killington, VT. My Husband and I are in two different states working and had a chance to go up to VT with our 8 yr old for a couple days. I was counting on it being President's Day on Monday thus a LONG weekend and most hotels were booked for Sunday check-in. I saw the Snowed Inn online and it had everything we wanted! A fireplace AND jacuzzi. Note the jacuzzi was in the bathroom NOT inside the room. But it was still nice! We dealt with Jim who is NOT the owner but the Front Desk Mgr. He was VERY helpful from the beginning when I contacted him. The reservation and payment went through without a hitch and when we got there and drove up it was just like the picture from their website. The entry was cozy with old skiing paraphenalia and there was a warm fire greeting us as we walked in. They have a morning breakfast that ISN'T spectacular but it is nice with bananas, coffee and you can make your own Belgium waffles. We came late towards 9:30 am when breakfast ends so we didn't have to wait in line to make our waffles as some previous reviews had mentioned. We had a bad dining experience at the Garlic that night and ended up ordering chinese food from the Japanese restaurant down the street (go figure! they sell both !) and ate at the breakfast tables in the side lobby area. The outside jacuzzi was great but only open 4-9 pm so plan accordingly as it isn't big and Jim made it clear "first come first serve". Also, we had a "do not disturb" sign on our door and the made left a basket of fresh towels and soaps by our door the next morning. I thought that was sooo thoughful. They have a 'common' fridge downstairs that everyone can use. Just label your food. Great xperience! Close to walk everywhere and down the street you can buy crepes at the Liquid Art cafe which I think is a gem of a place for Killington.

Room Tip: All rooms are quaint but small
