We just got back from a short, one day, trip to Killington to ski. We stayed at the Snowed Inn saturday night after skiing all day. Very happy we did!
Now this is not our first time there, it used to be our main go to place staying in Killingtin for years. We have been going to another Lodge on the access road that I was geting nice discounts from but the quality of the lodge and the service has not been consistant.
The Snowed Inn still has that true ski lodge feell that drew us there years ago! Now are main go to inn again!

Once again, we had a fabulous stay at the Snowed Inn. It feels like home, so welcoming, cozy, clean and lovely. My wife and I have a truly fabulous stay each and every time. Our favorite room has now been upgraded, has a 4 poster bed and is newly decorated. Magnificent! The private jacuzzi tub isn't bad either...
What we really love is that it offers the coziness of a B&B, yet the cleanliness and amenities of a larger Inn. A perfect blend of old and new. Most importantly it is clean, tasteful, abundant with extras and we are always warmly welcomed.
The Snowed Inn offers a yummy breakfast: home-made pastries, breads, fruit salad, yogurt, fresh coffee, waffles, juices, cereal hot and cold, big bagels, english muffins, fresh fruit and more! It was more than enough for my wife and I and really delicious.
The foliage was wonderful that weekend and we felt rejuvenated and ready to return to the city after a long weekend- thanks to the afternoon cider and cookies, comfy bed, cozy rooms, waking up to the birds and roaring brook sounds, the fireplace in the lounge and in our room and the fresh mountain air. We will be back to our favorite new B&B soon!

Called in without pre-booking and very glad we did! Jim's home baked cakes are fabby as is Jim for friendly conversation and knowledge of the area. We had great room with a fire and our own private fall foliage just outside the window.

Our first visit to the area and fist stay at a B&B Inn. Very nice first experience at a lovely property with excellent hosts. Nice location and interesting place to stay during August. Good area restaurants...Hemmingways is superb!

I stayed at the Snowed Inn during the fall foliage season in 2008. The inn itself was beautiful... wonderfully decorated, and very clean. Although I loved the inn, and the room we stayed inn, I wasn't too fond of the location. It's only steps away from a main road, and although noise traffic wasn't an issue, I was hoping for something a little more secluded.

Also, the breakfast was less than stellar. Of course there were bagels, and cereal and fruit, but don't expect a freshly cooked gourmet breakfast like you find in most B&B's and country inns. In fact, after our first breakfast at the Snowed Inn, the next two mornings, we ate breakfast out.

The innkeeper was VERY friendly and full of information, and I would HIGHLY recomend this in to friends and family, but because of the location and poor breakfasts, more than likely, I wouldn't stay there again.

We stayed there for two nights in Dec. 2008 and skiied at Killington. We booked a room with a jacuzzi tub-very highly recommended for relaxing after a day of skiing. The inn was nothing fancy, nice and comfortable. Breakfast was not bad, and consisted of a spread of muffins, breads, cereals, bagels, toast etc. The hot tub was pretty nice and pretty cool to be able to sit out there when there was snow on the ground. Overall, the inn was nothing fancy, but clean, comfortable, and worked for us.

Stayed in one of the more standard rooms up stairs. I agree that the walls are a little thin as far as noise, but overall everything was clean and updated thoughout the entire facility. I have a feeling those who paid a high rate during peak winter might have thought it was too much for what they ended up with, but for pre or post peak ski season, I think it's a great value considering the proximity to restaurants, nightlife and the mountain.
