We just stayed at the Snowed Inn March 23rd-25th and must post our experiences. We had our 17 and 20 year old snowboard loving sons with us and decided the more room the better. With skis, snowboards, boots and gear, a double bed room is just not acceptable. We saw the two bedroom suite on the internet and it was even more room than we imagined! Is there a thing as too much room? Just about. I wish we were there for a week- it had everthing!!. We read Trip Advisor comments and have often found them to very helpful- glad we ignored any negative comments. With regard to room size- if you want a bigger room, spend the extra money and go for it. This suite was incredible- bigger/better than the 2 bedroom suite at the Waldorf in NYC. Our only regret was that we didn't have another couple join us. We went to the hott ub both nights and enjoyed a good half hour uninterrupted- no waiting. The second night it snowed while we were in the hot tub- you can't pay for that kind of experience! The breakfast was perfect- no eggs and bacon and sausage- fresh fruit, yogurts and all kinds of breads and cereal. I'd rather save loading up on calories for the restaurants and happy hours later- which were also awesome. The staff was wonderful and friendly, and "the old guy" in the kitchen WAS the man in the photos winning all those medals. (Added a wonderful nostalgia to a beautiful Vermont ski lodge). There was even a steam room in one of the bathrooms- a first in any suite we've ever stayed in! The only possible thing missing- no box of tissues. Would definitely come back! Thanks for a great time!

Having never been to Killington we used Trip Advisor to find a nice B&B, and Snowed Inn had more good reviews than any of the others. We stayed for 6 nights and loved it so much we couldn't wait to get back every evening after skiing! We had a very warm welcome from all of the staff and Manfred the owner, and Bailey the lovely dog. Jim (the manager?) was especially helpful and always came out to see us when we got in, gave us great advice on the local amenities and plenty of laughs about his snowmobiling exploits and the vagaries of English-American translations! When we arrived the log fire was burning, there were cookies and coffee on the side and it looked very peaceful, relaxing and homely.

We upgraded to a 1-bed suite, as our initial room was a little on the small side, which would be our only criticism. But rather than accept this and just post negative feedback we asked for a bigger room and it was no problem at all. We could have had a bigger room at the same rate or upgrade to a suite. We chose the suite as it was HUGE with a big fireplace in the lounge, whirlpool bath, large queen bedroom and loads of storage space, and it was spotless. In fact, every day we came back to it spotless. The continental breakfast was fresh and tasty and set us up for the day perfectly. We used the hot-tub most nights, you can share it with others (it fits 4 comfortably) or wait 30 mins for it to be free, its so hot 30mins is enough for anyone!

For us, the Snowed Inn was a brilliant place to stay, in a great location on the main Killington access road (but set back so you didn’t get any noise or passing traffic) and only a stones throw from lots of restaurants and the wobbly barn. We would definitely come back and stay in the suite and recommend it to friends.

My husband and I had such an amazing weekend getaway in Killington and the Snowed Inn made for the perfect accomodations! Our suite was spacious and comfy, tastefully decorated with the most comfortable matress I've slept in away from home.
The Inn really leaves no detail unattended to, fresh baked cookies and hot apple cider apres ski, luxury mini soaps and shampoos, extended continental breakfast, etc.
The innkeepers were generous and welcoming and really made an effort to make our stay memorable.
The inn is clean, relaxing, romantic, cozy and we will definitley be back!

We had been looking forward to staying here since out last trip to Killington 2 years ago. The outdoor hot tub had me obsessed and it was worth the wait. There is nothing like sitting in a hot tub in the snow! It's magical! But be aware there is a time limit on it (we would have been more than happy to stay in longer and share the tub and even our beer which was chilling in the snow, but the gentleman who asked us to get out of the tub didn't seem to be of the same frame of mind...)

The inn keepers were very friendly, sweet and helpful. The housekeeper was WONDERFUL.

We got a standard fireplace room, and i was dissapointed by the size. I expected it to be larger, i guess, becasue our room at the Cortina 2 years ago was huge in comparison. The bedding was comfy though, which is very important to me :o)

The water that filled the toilet when we flushed had a really terrible smell to it and was a rusty color. The same water came out of the faucets and that freaked me out a little bit. I'm sure it was just rust, but it was still a little off-putting.

Also, we left something in our room by mistake. When we noticed that the same night we left, my husband called back and asked them if anyone had found it. the gentleman who took the call wasn;t able to give us any information and said he would pass the message on to someone the next day and have them return our call. We're still waiting.

It IS within walking distance to a big cluster of really great restaurants (We love Charity's and The Garlic!) and they are a really nice group of people, for those reasons alone, i would give it a favorable review, however, when we go back, we'll stay at the Cortina Inn just because the rooms are so much more spacious and the bar downstairs is a really cool place to hang out.

I stayed at the Snowed Inn as part of a ski and stay package. The pictures from their website are realistic- the exterior is quite nice and the deluxe rooms are as well. But is stayed in one of the standard rooms, which was rather small. The desk doubled as the TV stand, and there was barely room to move around. The staff was friendly enough. But the hotel was not very quiet, and breakfast was adequate at best. For a bed and breakfast I was expecting better.
