This applies for low occupancy periods. I have not been here at a busy time.

The room rate was lower than comparable large ski areas.

The ski lift access and the skiing were excellent.

It is possible to ski back to Jackson Gore from both the tops and bottoms of mostof the lifts. Check your trail map.

The room was quite large and comfortable.

Bell service and ski check services were superb.

The free underground parking with elevator access to rooms is superb.

The Colebrook Tavern was excellent for dinner.

Now the suggestions.

There is no good place for breakfast.

There is no electric vehicle charging station.

There is no complimentary fresh brewed coffee in the lobby in the morning, although there is DIY coffee in the room.

Room Tip: Ask for a room near the central elevator on the slope side.

We booked 4 nights midweek madness package during spring break and we were not disappointed. The location was fantastic. Right outside the chair lift with a great mountain view. The staff were always helpful and knowledgeable. The rooms were basic but clean and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils to self cater. It was great to be able to rent skis, buy passes and have everything so close. Our children enjoyed the spring house pool and we all enjoyed the indoor/outdoor pool and hot tub. The mountain coaster was fun too along with the hot waffle each day from the Waffle House! Fantastic location, great skiing and service ...we will be back!

We absolutely love the Jackson Gore area of Okemo. It is the newest and most updated. We loved our room and all the dinning options. We had a view of the mountain which also provided a perfect view of the tubing and roller coaster.

This was our second trip to Okemo. The last one was during a really warm year, so the skiing was meh, but this time we got to experience the hill in all its glory. Things I really liked about it: (1) even split between Green / Blue / Black left something for everyone, (2) it's probably the best-signed hill I've ever been on -- maps everywhere with "you are here" stickers, easily visible trail markers, and "fastest route" signs that help you get around. This is a really-underestimated part of making a ski trip enjoyable.

As for the Inn itself, we really liked it. We had a 1 bedroom suite, which was basically a modest one bedroom attached to a studio with a kitchen, bath, murphy bed, and pull out couch. The kids took one of each, we stayed in the bedroom, and we ate most of our meals in the room. We did try the Coleman Brook Tavern and found the food to be quite good, if a bit on the pricey side (though not atypical for ski resorts). The cafeteria at Jackson Gore was also pretty good...sandwich and salad bars in addition to the usual burgers and fries.

Honestly, no complaints and a great week with the family. Highly recommend.

Room Tip: As a family of four, we probably could have gotten by with a Studio vs a 1BR if we'd wanted to s...

Looked nice from the photos but didn't live up to the hype. Walls really thin and place was so noisy! We were in 2 connected rooms at the Jackson Gore Inn - a studio w kitchen and an adjacent standard 2 bed (really small!) hotel room. The room with the beds smelled horribly of cigarettes - even the bedding stunk (when, exactly, did they last change it?). They didn't have a room for us to move into so they sent up a (nice) guy with a can of air spray. Didn't help. Next day the house keepers came in with an air purifier machine but we had to be out of the room for several hours while it was on. Went to both restaurants in the main building and they were average at best and really expensive (as was the whole place!). Nice amenities (fitness center with pool, skating rink) and right on slopes but not worth the money.

I was very skeptical about staying at Jackson Gore as I have no ski experience and considered the studio on the high end of my price range. I couldn't be happier with the whole experience. I signed up for two days of two hour lessons and really enjoyed everything. If you are older and have never skied but would like to learn I really recommend this place. The room was clean and modern. Nice fireplace and really fast wifi. Yes the bar and restaurants are pricey but the overall experience is priceless.
The overall convenience of being able to park underground and walk out to the slopes is great. This trip we stayed for three nights next year I am staying a whole week,

I planned a ski weekend for my husband's birthday and made a reservation for the Jackson Gore Inn. Convenience is really important to him so I decided to book a room with a fireplace at the Jackson Gore Inn. We had seen the property before and my husband loved the large fireplace in the lobby; the lobby bar and the proximity to the exercise area and tavern. But beware! What they don't tell you is they can put you in a timeshare in the Adams building next-door (up a hill) or another timeshare building (Bixby, I think) even further away. It is their choice even if you request the main Jackson Gore building! What a nightmare! We specifically asked for a quiet room in "the building with the large lobby fireplace", but we were put up the Adams timeshare building where there is nothing in the lobby (not even a human) except an elevator. We asked twice to be switched to anything in the main building but they weren't able to accommodate us. We ended up sharing an Adams timeshare unit with another family with 4 small children. There was a shared room to hang ski clothing (that the other family took over except for 2 hooks) and then bedrooms that opened to this area. Awkward! We had to get dressed in order to grab our ski pants. The furnishings were adequate, but it would have been nice (for the price) to have nice feather pillows and a real comforter. And the worst part was that since we were renters, not owners, they wouldn't let us park our car in the underground garage at our building. In order to park it, we had to go to the main building and get out of the car to find a valet. We waited up to 20 minutes at times to find someone to hop in our car with us, drive us to our building, drop us off and park the car. And if we wanted to go to the main building for a drink or dinner, or to the exercise building, we had to bundle up and walk down a hill unless we wanted to wait 20 minutes for someone to bring us our car. Apparently they have a shuttle, but we never saw it. Since it was 2 degrees out the first night we arrived, we just stayed in our timeshare unit. No exercising or drink for us! We are pretty easy to please, but there were so many inconvenient things about the property. In order to use the ski lockers, you have to walk down to the store by the main building, buy a lock and then walk back up the hill. The lockers are roomy and there were plenty available, but there is nowhere to sit to put your boots on or take them off. Really? We were able to balance on one foot without getting our socks wet, but were glad we didn't have our children with us since soggy socks would have been a real problem. A slope side condo would have been SO much more convenient and comfortable and we would have had access to our car. We were really disappointed since we paid a huge amount for the convenience of staying at the Inn, which turned out to be really inconvenient. I would highly suggest staying at a condo on the mountain, but if you want to stay at the Inn (really timeshares) insist on the main Jackson Gore Inn building and tell them ahead of time you won't accept a room in one of the satellite buildings.

Room Tip: Rent a condo instead or insist on a room in the main Jackson Gore Inn building.

I would like to apologize for the issues you experienced during your stay and hope to address a few of them. We try to honor all requests at the time of the reservations and also make a point of detailing the unit type and location in the confirmation letter. The varying properties available can be confusing, and we hope to use this review as a tool to improve our service.

As a matter of convenience, we encourage guests to wear ski boots from their room to the ski lockers, and then, after picking up skis, it’s a short walk to the slopes.

We realize there are many options available for staying slope side at Okemo Mountain Resort and we appreciate your comments and suggestions.
