“Good dinner”
Reviewed 19 February 2014

We went here for dinner recently.
The food is well prepared...Not very creative, but you get a fine meal. I wouldn't say that it's a 'Foodie" place, but after a day's skiing, it works for many people.

I thought the place was gracious and the service was very good.

“Nice spot for a drink”
Reviewed 9 February 2014

We stopped in for a drink on a Saturday night. Bartenders Neil and Kyle were cordial and friendly and mixed great drinks. Great little spot by the bar to sit with friends for a quiet drink on Saturday night. Nice historic Inn at a great location. Will be back for drinks again, and for dinner too.

“Excellent cruisine, good service, lovely atmosphere.”
Reviewed 4 February 2014

I initially reviewed this under the hotel category but it really should also have a place in the restaurant category, since the restaurant is worth a visit even if you are staying there. The inn itself is an antique. A quintessential new England inn. We arrived early and had a drink in the lounge--spiced cider with rum, a perfect complement to a day of skiing. Then we had dinner. The flounder was delicate and the crab filling tasty. My husband had ravioli which was light and fragrant. The service was excellent and friendly.
