I have eaten at the Echo Lake Inn many times over the past 10+years. Chef Kevin always surprises with unique, tasty soups and great entrees. The owner, Lawrence is very welcoming and an interesting conversationalist. The wait staff headed up by Neal and Melinda, and supported by Jean, are very accommodating. Dinner and drinks served on the porch are the highlight of my Vermont visits.

Always pleasurable. Reliably delicious food and service, intimate setting, and a local but 'fine dining' option in an old but unique venue (a place with a 'story'). I usually enjoy the duck or steak. Local favorite for Plymouth, relaxing atmosphere. We usually come here for a 'couples night out' without children, solid/dependable.

We came here on a friday night and after being very kindly welcomed, we were told that they were celebrating the chef's 24th year with them by making a prix fixe menu. Everything seemed so good and the meals we ordered were beautiful, creative, unique, and delicious. After a long day of skiing, coming to eat here was so nice, warm and cozy. If we ever do return to this area, we will definitely eat there again.

Arrived at night with the Inn shining a welcome. Parked across the street. We were so happy to have found this treasure. An Inn of history that has interesting decorations to view as one leaves one's coat and enters the dining- room! I enjoyed the fact that the wait staff was so pleasant- all of them with smiles and good cheer, seeming happy we were there. I liked sufficient quiet to talk without having to yell. The food choices were close to standard but fixed in a slightly different way ie: duck with blueberry sauce. This was the first night out of three nights in restaurants when everyone finished everything on their plates, the soup, the meal, the dessert and left extremely happy.

We went here for dinner recently.
The food is well prepared...Not very creative, but you get a fine meal. I wouldn't say that it's a 'Foodie" place, but after a day's skiing, it works for many people.

I thought the place was gracious and the service was very good.
