Excellent place, Highly recommend it! The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The Breakfast room was very clean, and the staff kept replenishing the food/coffee instantly!! The rooms are very large, as is the bathroom, so everyone in our party had plenty of space. We were there Presidents weekend and the place was sold out, but the staff made everyone very happy and it seamed like we were their only guests! Great job!!

Great place for people who want to ski on a budget. The place is clean (I have a phobia of other peoples dirt) and the rooms are good sized. The beds are comfortable and the sheets seem clean (I always travel with my own sheets, pillow cases and comforter). Its not a five star hotel but it's just fine for the price. It's a 5 minute drive from Okemo so its convenient. I have stayed here many times and I will continue to do so.

Called up day before storm as our family decided to drive up early to Okemo before the storm hit. They were very nice on the phone- I explained that we wouldn't be arriving until 2am. They were accommodating had made arrangements for a key when we arrived.. we stayed in room on lower level room, was clean and temperature was perfect when we walked in. parking lot had been plowed. bed was comfortable and is only 1 mile from Okemo. it was obvious most people staying here were skiing as parking lot was empty by 9:00...Would recommend

I would recommend a stay at the Ludlow Colonial Motel, Vermont, it was clean, people nice and friendly, rooms were spacious and the breakfast was very good lots to choose from and all name brands. Near the ski slopes and a bus on weekends door to door. Walk to town to restaurants and pubs, which are also very good food and nice and cozy town. We love it and have been going to same place for eight years now.

Hotel ammenities were in general good. Rooms are clean, heat is good, and beds are comfortable. The included breakfast was good, typical continental breakfast items as well as made to order waffles. The only downside was that the Stay was in the winter, parking lot was icy, injured knee in a fall, unable to ski the next day (purpose of the stay).

I gave my husband a very hard time for booking this hotel when our usual place was fully booked. The photos on line and the reviews were not favorable but he wanted to ski a few weekends ago so he booked it without consulting the "queen." Turns out the place is way better than the photos or reviews claim. We enjoyed our stay. The room was comfortable, clean, a slight bit dated but clean is the most important thing. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was fine...no one went hungry. Our boys enjoyed building a fort in a snow bank after skiing. The place was quiet and in a good location. The only thing missing was a hot tub/pool. I would stay at this hotel again and I apologized to my husband for the grief I gave him. I don't like to do that too often. One piece of advice for the staff is to sweep the stairs after snowfall.

Room Tip: We stayed on the second floor in a regular room. I don't know what the other rooms are like sinc...

We booked this hotel as an after theatre stop on the way home. The 1st room offered was on the highway and noisy, and each of the subsequent rooms were unacceptable. The next room was not even made up, and the last room was both dirty, smoky and generally unclean. Very disappointing for a Best Western property! Decided to drive on back roads after 11:30 at night and was happy with Hampton Inn in Rutland.

Room Tip: If you chance this, get there early and scope out quiet location, cleanliness & have back-up pla...
