What a wonderful meal! There was so much to choose from, even for my gluten-free meal! My partener and I went with my son and his girlfriend, and my little grandaughter. A great time was had by all! Juniper's at the Wildflower Inn is fast becoming our favorite place to eat! We are looking forward to Rick's Birthday meal, and then Father's Day!

had a wonderful family meal with four young children in a lovely private room with round table, something for everyone including one of the most extensive gluten free menus we have ever seen. Many very special dishes , everyone liked their selection. All were happy . Very child friendly yet we had space to ourselves so didn't bother others.

We are locals and have dined here 4 times during the last couple of months. One must realize that nice dining options are far and few between in the Lyndonville area. Overall, the Inn is on gorgeous property. The dining rooms are pleasant and the glassed-in dining porch is especially nice. However, food and service can be very inconsistent.

Duck is a favorite of ours and last night it was tough with gristle and difficult to cut and chew. Also, it was served barely warm accompanied by a cold sauce. Our pre-dinner drinks last night took forever. When dinner arrived, we ordered another round, and those drinks came just as we were finishing our entrees. It did not appear that the restaurant was overly busy, so that seemed like too long to wait for a round of drinks.

On a previous experience, a Sheppard's Pie was ordered. It had a different twist which basically had chunks of a "hamburg patty" incorporated into the dish. Flavor was just ok, but it was an odd dining experience. Scallops have been ordered and once they were, large, tender and exceptionally good. The second time, they were very small but equally tasty. Service is generally pleasant and relatively efficient. Our waitress last night was pleasant and had good command of all the menu items, ingredients and proper pronunciation.

Would we recommend the restaurant? Yes, but ...

I need to eat gluten free and finding a restaurant that has a gluten free menu is not easy. Junipers has an extensive gluten free menu with lots of local specials. The wine selection was very nice as well. Our meals were plentiful and the atmosphere was nice and had the “true Vermont” feel. If I am back in the area I will absolutely seek out Junipers.
