Branch Brook B&B is a lovely, homey B&B located in Lyndonville VT. Ann Tolman, the inn owner, is friendly and very knowledgeable about the area restaurants, shopping, etc. After arriving late afternoon one Friday night she directed us to the perfect place for dinner which we would have never found so easily if she hadn't mentioned it. The rooms were comfortable and the bathroom was large. Lots of hot water and comfortable temperatures, beds, etc.
The breakfasts were fabulous! What can I say about the selection: each morning you could choose pancakes, french toast, farm fresh eggs, fresh fruit, juices, bacon/sausage, etc. Cooked right to order and you could have as much as you wished. The breakfasts held us most of the day until dinner time.
If you go late Sept/early October check out the local foliage festivals held in a different town each day. Ann will give you a brochure about these festivals which was quite helpful.
Note that the individual rooms don't have TVs and there isn't wireless internet on site. This is a traditional B&B so the only way to book it is to call the B&B directly. There is a common room TV available to quests, board games, books and magazines also.
The B&B is close to St. Johnsbury. Within walking distance of the Inn are two covered bridges. Lyndonville has a total of 5 covered bridges located in town. The innkeeper can give you a map of Lyndonville showing the location of the covered bridges which is convenient to find them for photos.
