What a treat it is to have you visit for your 'girls weekend!' The whole staff loves welcoming you back and catching up with you! Your visits are a tradition for everyone in our family and staff and I think we love having you visit as much as you love coming on your vacation. Can't wait to have you join us again for your annual poolside tiki party!

I was there for a business dinner in a private room for about 18. the service was excellent and the food was great. Delicious shrimp cocktail, beef entrée and the chocolate lava cake was the best part.

“A bit disappointing”
Reviewed 29 September 2013

We recently ate here with family for our grandfathers birthday. He had mentioned the inn several times so we decided to surprise him! The setting is beautiful, terrace area has a beautiful view and one of the staff took a couple group photo for us before dinner. Dinner service is where they really lacked, maybe this was an off night? Maybe the staff was new? Whatever the case, when our table ordered wine the waiter came back to ask if Prosecco is a white or red wine , and then again to ask if pinot noir is white or red? The list of wines by the glass is very small, why he couldn't just cheat and look at the wine list to determine this himself is beyond me. Being familiar with your wine list is key for any good server. Also the two children in our party were never asked if they wanted kids menus at all.

The food was good, but not as great as expected after reading other reviews. The soup was lukewarm. The delicious warm cheese puff appetizer was accompanied by a freezing cold sauce. Our entrees, for a table of 10 came out sporadically and with nearly a 5 minute wait between the first person served and the last. This makes me wonder how they do weddings for 150 people? I had a steak which was cooked perfectly and delicious even if the the potatoes were overly salty, and the veggies a bit cold. My boyfriend had the pork tenderloin and found it very dry. Beyond this, it was difficult to get more water, coffee, or dessert. It seemed we got our entrees and were then abandon by our waitstaff, no one asked if the steak was cooked correctly or if we were enjoying our meals, or were in need of more beverages.

The servers seemed to be swamped and clueless - even though there aren't even 15 tables in the whole restaurant, and not all of them were full at the time. When we did finally get dessert, that too was disappointing. The brownie sundae, which was supposed to come with pumpkin ice cream, came with vanilla, which is fine, but should have been addressed by the servers. The brownie was HUGE, but the scoop of ice cream tiny, and the brownie was clearly made from a packaged mix. We also had apple cheesecake, which was delicious!

Overall it didn't ruin our night, but didn't leave us wanting to return either. The owner at one point came to check on our table and asked if we needed anything. She must not have been expecting us to say yes, because when we let her know we needed water, coffee, and dessert she got flustered, told one of the servers to get us dessert and left. Clearly the management needs to learn when the staff needs help, and how to pitch in to make the guest experience better! I would not return here and i would recommend some serious training for their wait staff.

These guests came to celebrate a 90 birthday. I think the birthday man had a fine time and I hope he will celebrate 91 with us. Our regular server and bartender both called in sick on Friday so the dining room staff was not as professional as they should have been. I was not pleased with the timing of the presentation of the meal, however I did have dinner after the guests had left and found my meal very tasty. This dinner was priced at $35. for a 3 course complete dinner.

“A bit odd but worth going to see museum”
Reviewed 13 May 2013

It is the most amazing site ever, driving up a long rock wall along a cliff with mountain views every where. The food was a buffet the night we went and it was only OK. Not many people and they needed to upgrade the tables, settings etc. which they may have done since.
