This being our first trip to Vermont we decided to book a tour of the area. How very lucky we were, the other couple due to join the tour couldn't make it and so we had the absolute privilege of have Sharon's wonderful company all to ourselves.
Apart from being so knowledgeable about the area, she is an absolute joy to be with - intelligent, witty and warm.
We visited some out of the way places and met some lovely people we never would have
found on our own.
Thanks to Sharon we had a brilliant few days because she took the trouble to write out an itinerary for us for the rest of our stay. We followed her suggestions and had such a great time.
Thank you Sharon - you were the best discovery we made in Vermont!
Hope we'll see you in London.
John & Norma

A group of friends and I went on this tour last weekend and had a spectacular time. Sharon was so knowledgeable about every single question that the group had, and always kept teaching us about the towns and history of Manchester without skipping a beat! We made quite a few stops along the way including our two favorites: the maple syrup factory in the Merck Forest and alpaca farm! It is typically hard to keep 30 years old entertained, but Sharon kept us engaged the entire time and now some of us wanting to move to VT! She even learned all 8 of our names within the first 30 mins, and also kept the tour going past the original

We took the Fall Foliage Tour with Sharon and wound up seeing the Vermont we came for. Of course we've enjoyed the more touristy attractions, but with Sharon, we saw a landscape that we might have otherwise missed. One of the highlights of our entire trip was the drive through golden maples on the way to the maple sugaring house. It was simply breathtaking. Sharon is a former teacher, and her experience in that field shows as she conducts the tour--sharing interesting information about the particular sites visited and the state in general. We learned a lot just from listening and enjoyed chatting with her about a variety of topics in the course of the tour. In addition to showing us the Manchester area, Sharon recommended attractions in other parts of the state which proved to be good advice. We thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon on the Discovery Tour and hope to return and do it again some day. Thanks, Sharon, for making our Vermont vacation memorable!

Participated in the Fall Foliage Tour. What a great time. Breathtaking views at every turn. Our guide, Sharon, made it fun and informative. We saw and learned so much. It was 3 hours total and I would do it again in a heartbeat. Great experience from beginning to end.

If you visit Manchester Vermont, you must set aside time for a Back Road Discovery Tour. I just took the Fall Foliage Tour and it was wonderful! The tour was extremely well planned with stops in many of the truly special places off the beaten path in the Dorset, Pawlet, and Manchester area. Our guide, Sharon was extremely knowledgeable of local history, lore and local color and she made all the guests on the trip feel like we were members of her family that were visiting Vermont for the first time. She is friendly, patient and helpful and I wish I was staying for longer so I could take another tour. I will definitely go back!
