We are old friends from Philadelphia who spent the MLK long weekend at the Green Mountain House. From the moment we picked up the keys to the house at the Inn to our departure, we all kept marveling at how comfortable and cozy it was. Perfect really for those who want a confortable space to talk and laugh together.
The beds were quite comfortable so we all caught up on our sleep while here. The views amazing. We spent a fair bit of time just reading and talking while sitting on the couches around the fireplace. On our last night, we cooked dinner after visiting the Sunday Farmers Market and found all of the pots, plates and cooking tools needed in the well stocked kitchen.
On the morning we checked out, we had breakfast in the Inn and realized we wished we had eaten there earlier in our stay. The waiter so friendly and interesting, the food fabulous, and the organic breads amazing!!

The Trinity College Ski Team had a great stay at the Wilburton Inn in Manchester. The Green Mountain House proved to be plenty of space for over 10 people and provided a beautiful view from the bedrooms and large porch. Next time we come to Manchester, we will be giving our friends at Wilburton a call!
Came here for MLK weekend for my sister's bachelorette with a total of 12 girls and the Green Mountain House was perfect for our needs! The house was clean and we loved the open concept living room, kitchen, and dining area. The kitchen was also fully stocked so all we had to do was bring the groceries. We were concerned that with 12 girls and the cold temperatures we would run out of hot water, but there was plenty which is definitely something worth mentioning. The only thing I would note is that the house technically sleeps 11 as one of the beds is a crib. We spoke to the front desk and they said our options would be a cot or airbed, but that the couch was probably much more comfortable than those two options so we went with that. Shortly after Ed stopped by and made sure we were all set and brought by extra linens, pillows, toiletries, etc and said he would be more than happy to set up the cot or airbed...turns out the couch is actually super comfortable! The house is an excellent location, just a short 5 min drive to everything. Overall our stay was great and I would definitely recommend this property to others!

My family and I (grandparent, children, and grandchildren(10, and 12) spent the last week of August at the Willburton Inn. (Specifically the Green mountain Lodge located on the property). The lodge was perfect for our needs in size, and included a huge shaded porch overlooking the green mountains, and a gas fired BBQ grill. The Inn is run by the Levis family, and they were wonderful hosts ensuring that we had all that we needed. Melissa goes out of her way to ensure we have everything we need.. We found the Manchester area a wonderful summer outing with swimming and tennis on site, and hiking, biking and golf nearby. Also nearby our some unique attractions, such as swimming in a marble quarry, action parks at Bromley, and Paddle Boarding on Emerald Lake. A beautiful vacation area and one we would consider again.
