“Nice hotel for the price”
Reviewed 13 August 2012

I imagine this place could get quite pricey during the ski season, but during August it was a very good deal. The room # 105 was big, comfortable; free breakfast was in a ski-themed room downstairs and featured bagels, assorted donuts, coffee, juice, tea; there's an indoor hot tub, outdoor pool, and is nicely landscaped. The lady at night was very nice. No fridge or microwave in room, but there is a coffeemaker. Location is outside of both Killington & Rutland and was very quiet. It was a good location for traveling to the different things we wanted to see before heading to Burlington.

Room Tip: I guess because of its rustic quality, the floors are a bit squeeky.

The hotel and rooms were nice. Service was poor. The amenities which make it special were lacking. We had to get our own cups and coffee for the in room machine. The soaps and shampoo were not replaced daily. The garbage cans were not emptied until we requested it. Large bags of dirty laundry were left sitting in the hall for several days.We were very disappointed. Not a do again spot.

We stayed here for a birthday party for a relative who live nearby. We needed three rooms for family, and good we booked early, because if filled up fast. Hotel is typical, rooms are ordinary, amenities are commonplace. Wi-fi and continental breakfast is complimentary. But for $65 per night, it's worth it.

There is a small outdoor swimming pool, though it was cold during our stay in mid July.. Located on a busy main road, there is not much around in driving distance. There is NOTHING around in walking distance. But if you're here to sight-see or ski (in the Winter), this is a great hotel to rest your bones.

This hotel has a location very close to Killington, but the rooms are dated, the breakfast area was hot, musty and moldy (in the summertime), as well as very warm hallways. The rooms were functional, but I would not have wanted to spend more than one night there. The continental breakfast was what you expect from an Econo-lodge. Cheapest hotel room of my entire week in New England, but you get what you pay for.

The location is good. Seems clean. A very old property and in need of a renovation.

Rooms are clean. Beds are hard. WiFi is fast & free. Good selection of tv channels.

This hotel would be good if doing a winter trip to nearby Killington-Pico on a budget.

Summer time they have window ac units that do not fit the windows allowing the possibility of wildlife getting into the rooms on 1st floor.
For heat in wintertime the rooms have baseboard heaters.

Hotel staff state 2nd floor is smoking rooms, despite being advertised as a 100%Friend smoke free building.

This was a booking made last minute for our return trip home. We had never stayed in the Killington area and were not sure what to expect. The hotel is located close to Killington but had many amenities nearby. The surrounding scenery is breathtaking, even in the summer! This hotel is built to resemble a lodge and definitely felt homey. It may not be the most up to date, but it was clean and comfortable. Our only issue was that the a/c wasn't working very well, but the friendly, helpful staff and locale more than made up for it. The library on the second floor was a nice touch.

Room Tip: There are a lot of stairs around this property so if I were to recommend this to one of my mobility...

I have been to this hotel/lodge many times. I have always had a great time. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are always clean and fresh. Anytime we venture up to Killington this is our one and only Lodge.

Room Tip: I found any room I ever had to be great
