5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 June 2013

The Red Clover Inn is a beautiful refuge. It's a perfect spot to unwind from the hassles of daily life. The staff is ready and willing to see to anything you need. The rooms are cozy. The tavern serves great wine and spirits. Dinner at the restaurant was amazing. We will be back!

Thank you for your review! The Red Clover Inn certainly is an escape from the stress and responsibilities of the daily grind. With our filling breakfasts, beautiful scenerey & relaxing rooms, Chef Colin's "amazing" dinners and Thomas' cocktails there is little reason to go anywhere else. We look forward to welcoming you back soon! Best, Charlotte

This may have been the nicest B&B I've stayed in, and I've been to atleast 4 others just in Vermont alone.

First, we had just gotten married, and because there was a better room available the night of our wedding (we stayed when it was off ski season), we were upgraded for free. The room was crazy nice; the bed may have been the most comfortable I've ever slept on, and it was huge. Two of my best sleeps ever. There was a large sauna tub in the room perfect for a couple. There was a fireplace for the mood.

There was also a big hot tub outside, which we made use of at least 4 times in our two days there =).

The breakfast was *delicious*. The menu items both days we were there were terrific, everything from mexican style omelets to mango topped belgina waffles; I posted a few pictures of these. Breakfast started each morning with a to-die-for croissant and fruit bowl. I wish I knew how they made those croissants...

The staff was so kind and helpful. They helped us unload our baggage, gave us a tour of the venue, and was just in a great caring mood overall.

The only downside to this was the price. The menu at the hotel restaurant was pretty pricey (breakfast was free, but there is a restaurant for dinner) compared to nearby restaurants with similar menu items. Moreover, the full price on the room we got upgraded to was very high. We really enjoyed it as I stated, but I would have settled for a slightly less fancy room for much less $$. The one we stayed in was originally priced somewhere near 300+ a night even for off skiing season.

I would stay here again in a heartbeat (albeit in a slightly less fancy room =).

We were excited to welcome you and your bride to the Red Clover Inn! Because your stay was during our slower spring season, it was our pleasure to upgrade your room for the special weekend! We offer a 4 tier range of rooms with varying amenities. The rooms are priced accordingly (off season our king suites are $245 whereas our more economical are around $150.) Heidi's outstanding homemade breakfasts, the beautiful grounds, hot tub and "most comfortable beds" help to create the Red Clover experience. Chef Colin prides himself in using only the freshest and best ingredients for his dishes. His dinners cannot be compared to other restaurants in the area. It may appear our dinner rates are on the higher end (entrees generally range from $25-$36) however, the quality of the food makes the dinner well worth it! We appreciate your kind review. Best wishes, Charlotte

I recently had the pleasure of staying here for two nights. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly and cheerful! The breakfast, which was included, is cooked to order (from 2 choices) and was fresh and delicious. This is a wonderful place to stay!!

I have no idea if others will have as good of a time as my wife and I did but I can't recommend highly enough. We went for a ski trip in late March (only now getting to reviews, so sue me) to Killington and decided to make our base here.

Our room was huge, nice remote control fireplace and cozy beds with a jacuzzi tub. Everything was clean and a nice location away from the main lodge. At night we just sat and watched the snow make another perfect blanket over the fields. We felt small, in that good way.

The main thing here is the staff, everyone from top to bottom could not have been nicer. We had to check in late due to traffic and they totally understood and went out of their way to have everything ready for us. Personal notes on arrival and departure are those little touches that you just don't get anymore.

Lastly, the free breakfast. All freshly prepared with good ingrediants and brought to you. No crap buffet here, this was top notch, an amazing way to start the day with a full belly.

This hotel is minutes from Pico Mountain and also XC Nordic. Killington isn't far at all either. You are close to everything.

Overall, it's rare to give this score but this place deserves it. Trust your trip to this hotel. You'll be glad you did.

My wife and I stayed at the Red Clover Inn for Memorial Day Weekend. Their professional and caring staff were some of the nicest people we have ever met. Due to intense rain, our Guide had to cancel a day of fishing and without even asking, the staff was on the phone with other local guides to see if we could book a trip the following day. The staff also put together a list of activities nearby we could do despite the rain. Having such poor weather and being inside more, we had the opportunity to see many of the rooms at the Inn which were all spotless as was their kitchen. The rooms were updated without losing the historic charm of the Inn. Saturday night, we decided to go to another restaurant down the road and were disappointed with what was supposed to be a higher end resort. We ate dinner at the Red Clover the following night and the service and food were absolutely top notch. My Wife and I were able to talk to many different people on their staff including Chef Collin who is incredibly talented at what he does. Every single person we came in contact with on the staff truly cares about the experience of their guests from the beautiful rooms to the delicious breakfast menu and especially the dinner menu. My only regret from the trip to Vermont was not eating at Red Clover Inn two nights in a row. We will definitely be back to the Inn in the near future.

Just arrived from four days at this beautiful place. Even if it was during low-season and we were almost alone in the Inn, they took care of us perfectly. The room was cozy and comfortable, the food and the staff were great.Talentuous new Chef. We enjoyed the delicious and copious breakfast and also the hot tub after bike rides under freezing rain!

It was a delight to have you as our guests at the Red Clover Inn! After biking all day in the cold rain (even some morning snow) the least we could do was provide you with a comfortable bed, a hot tub and delectable, hearty meals! Thank you for your complimentary review. We look forward to your return visit.

If you are looking for an ideal bed and breakfast with delicious food served by wonderful staff, look no further. The fact that it is so close to Pico and Killington mountains is a bonus. But even if this Inn was located with nothing surrounding it, I would still choose to stay here. Absolutely delicious breakfast each morning. The dinner menu offered amazing choices (I LOVED the salmon). The grounds are beautiful and the inn itself is charming. The rooms are so clean and full of light. I was in a room with a gas fireplace and a large whirlpool. Again, ideal. Even the sheets and towels made an impression - they were so fragrant. The staff felt like they were our old friends, and by the time we left they felt like new ones. They lit a big bonfire outside for us where we gathered under the beautiful star-lit Vermont night sky. I can't think of a way our stay could have been more ideal.
