Attended a wedding weekend at resort. Staff fantastic and so friendly and accomodating. The most lovely setting imaginable for a wedding! Food at breakfast was very good, Catered dinner at reception was excellent as was pizza in tavern. Didn't have lunch there but offerings looked reaasonable and saw other diners having lunch which looked very apealling. Stayed in Ledges condos, way up on the hill. Long drive to dirt road to get there, lovely setting though condo somewhat dated. Rooms at inn a bit dated but you forget all that when you walk the grounds of the property. So many spots to just hang and read a book and relax. I would definitely return there on my own. Just can't imagine how beautiful it would be in the fall when all the leaves are changing..

This is a very unique review, as it is, in a sense, the product of very stressful and painful circumstances. We stay at Hawk Resort several times a year during the fall and winter. The scenery is picturesque, the lodges are immaculate and the service is superior. During our most recent stay, I was involved in a car accident just as I was entering the resort. To make matters worse, I had my 10 year old nephew in the car who had already been apprehensive about driving in inclement weather. We slid off the road, and hit a pillar. Before we had a chance to exit the vehicle, Jen, the real estate manager was already at our side guiding us to safety, ensuring we were not hurt. Fortunately, no one was hurt. She brought is in off the cold, snowy road and tended to our needs as if we were family, not guests. As we waited in the lobby of the main lodge, Jen exhibited a kindness that transcends customer service and enters the realm of human goodness. She insisted that we have some homemade cookies and hot cocoa to maintain our sugar levels in the chance that shock may set in. As we waited for the proper authorities and towing service, Jen provided a phone to contact AAA, a ride back up to our unit and a fire to keep us warm, all accompanied by a smile to melt the snow along with our hearts during the time spent in her care. This touching display of selflessness, kindness and heartfelt compassion turned an awful experience into a beautiful one. It's hard to imagine that Jen is the real estate manager when she was nothing short of a saint! Thank you Jen, for your warmth and many kindnesses, for they will never be forgotten! Hawk Resort was always fabulous, now it's even more special!

I was recently in the Killington area for a bachelorette weekend. We decided on a horse drawn sleigh ride as one of our activities. The property at Hawk Inn was beautiful, and the friendly staff made for a wonderful experience. Would go back again in a heartbeat!

We have stayed at Hawk for the last few winters as an anniversary trip since we honeymooned in a Villa at Hawk North many years ago. This past trip left us a little disappointed. The staff was very helpful as always, the room was clean and the massages were divine. What disappointed us was the quality of the food in the River Tavern. Our breakfast each morning was nothing impressive and the food arrived both mornings barely warm. Our dinner was nice but again, nothing impressive. Our only other problem was with the mattress, it really needed updating as it sagged in the middle. We will return because we really do love Hawk but we will not book a package that includes meals.

We stay here every year for family vacation and good skiing. The reason we love it here is the staff. Artie is the best, he wears many hats , always greets you by name and you can tell he genuinly loves it here. We did notice some turn over in staff. And also amenities. lotion in the activities building used to be nice, also the robes in the rooms used to be great when you get out of the pool, The pool towels are small and thin . When the economy calls for cutting back you just need to be careful . The green mountain coffee and cocoa in the gear shed , lobby needed sprucing up and the property has become dated. We love the staff and will continue to vacation here.. Just needs some capital spending.

We were very excited to go to Hawk for a foliage anniversary trip. Their website looked fantastic. We also wanted to go to VT to help them to recover after the floods. So we booked a package with Hawk. The staff is unimpressive. They were not very enthusiastic when we checked in and did not really explain what was damaged by the flood like for instance that the spa is flooded and the game room so that our massages were now going to be in a hotel room. That is fine, but explain it, maybe apologize for it, do something. We dined in the tavern and were charged a different amount from what we wrote on the receipt to be charged to the room by 67.00! They corrected it once we questioned it though. luckily we did question it. The pool, is really nice. The facilities are dated. The bedding, wallpaper, hallways all are outdated. The food was really good though and all in all a good experience just wish they would update their facility and their staff.
