What a great restaurant! The food was very creative and very well executed. The service was warm and attentive. The decor is elegant yet country. Highly recommended!

We arrived at 11:30am which is when they open. It was a ghost town in there. The sign said they were open but there were no staff in sight. We finally encountered someone and got a table outside. It took 11 minutes before we got a menu after we were seated, but after that the service was fine. The food was great and reasonably priced for lunch. The ingredients were of very high quality and everything we had was delicious! The portions were good for lunch, but some who are used to super sized portions may be unhappy. We enjoyed our meal, but the service was really slow at first. They were apologetic about it though. I would definitely go back!

Stopped by for lunch, soup and salad sounded great. Waited 30 minutes (we were the only ones in the place). The salad consisted of pale delicate mixed greens limp under a deep soupy sea of the lowest grade salad dressing. "Local" cheese was cut in such tiny morsels they were rendered tasteless. Best was the potato soup whose salt content topped ours for the week! Tab was 30 dollars. Baked chicken and veg. rice at Coop nearby was 7 dollars for two. Yes, we had to go somewhere for lunch! And who designed the low chairs around high tables? I needed a booster seat! Very uncomfortable, poorly prepared and slooooww...oh did i mention expensive!

Potential but really rough edges. Very stuffy inside and weird table heights relative to chairs. Requested porch seating (very limited) Told a table with 3 chairs couldn't accommodate a 4th. It was a square table with nothing around it!! One menu for table of four. Very slow service. Burgers served on a wooden board with steak knife stabbed vertically through burger to board. The juice from the burger was dripping on the board and down to the table. When burger requested to be medium was uncooked in the center, the waitress said I didn't have to worry because it came from "happy cows" and medium should be pink in the center. But the dishes/mugs were interesting and hand made.

Very lovely setting. Our food was also very well prepared. Nice selection of vegetarian options, and if none, requests are honored. BYOB though! Very relaxing!
