Okay, Basketville in Putney, VT should be visited a least once. Even if you don't buy anything, it's worth the stop just to see the fantastic creations woven with wood and fibers. The lower part of the store is filled with all sorts of baskets from around the world (I wanted many of them). They also feature foods and drinks made right in Vermont. Upstairs are vast examples of woven furniture for indoors or outdoors. So comfy. They even had a sling chair that is hung from the ceiling (on my daughter's Christmas list). The really amazing items are the various beasts (leopards, lobsters, rhino, sharks, etc.) that are woven from various wood fibers. So creative. They even had a bike frame with woven elements.
