We stopped at the Rockingham store twice, once on the way up to Burlington in July and once on way back. Saw things second time we had not seen or did not have enough time to see the first time. I think if you can't find it here you are not going to find it. Store divided into sections, food and cooking/kitchen gadgets, candy and confections with games and specialty children items, and clothing for both outdoor and indoor. Great place to stop for an hour, or two if you have the time.

If you want to have throwback days to your childhood, then this is the place. You can find all those neat things you had as a kid like Rock em Sock em robots, etch a sketch, and many more things like that. They also have clothes, and many cheeses to try.
Cool place for some shopping, but beware, prices are not cheap.

You can sample most everything in this store, from different cheeses, summer sausages, all kinds of dips and crackers, chips, jams, cookies and sauces and more. My kids love the candy section and the hot apple cider. We try to made the trip once a year.

We had a baseball tournament in Keene NH and made a side trip into VT..Beautiful surroundings. The store itself is a FUN tourist trap.. I say that with the utmost affection.. "penny candy" section.. all the candy you can think of, including the nostalgic stuff. The toy section has new items as well as nostalgic stuff ( wooden jacob's ladder, spirograph among a ton of others) The typical VT tourist items, maple syrup, moose stuff. Beautiful table cloths, and chair pads.. SO much to choose from.. My only complaint and wish i had noticed before i left is some of the individual candy pieces have prices, make sure you write the price on the bag and watch when they ring them up.. Some of our candy was billed in a per lb price rather than the per piece price. So just watch that.. However the fudge was to die for and they have just about chocolate covered everything ! W

We're visiting friends in Agawam, MA and of course just had to visit this fun shop. It really is a neat place to visit. Many different things to see, buy and sample. Yes, fun things to taste before you buy them. Different cheeses, summer sausages, all kinds of dips and crackers, chips, jams, cookies and sauces. Yum, yum. All kinds old toys and outdoor stuff, perfumes and toiletries for the gals and stuff for the guys as well. A lot of history here too. Started by Vrest Orton and now run by his son and grandsons, it is out in the country and is really fun to look, try and buy. Staff was friendly and helpful and we just had a very enjoyable afternoon there. It's fun getting there as well as the Vermont country-side is gorgeous.
