This restaurant was recommended to us by two local merchants and the trudge up the hill to get to it was well worth it. A good soup, a very tasty BLT and some excellent salads (try the warm Brie salad with almonds and cranberries) left everyone satisfied. Thanks to the waitstaff!!

We enjoyed our early dinner and all the food we had was really really good including the flatbread pizza, turkey sandwich, salad and n rings. The Inside is kind of dark but the outside patio was so cute and pleasant despite the view of road construction. Building itself is a renovated post office which did have its historical charm. There was no dinner menu just a lunch menu with a limited dinner blackboard which featured a raviloli dish, a burger and tacos. Service was good although we were the only ones there at the time. Prices seemed a little steep to me with sandwiches around $10, flatbread was like $13 and onion rings were like $6. Wine was about $7 a glass. However, I believe the food was locally sourced which certainly can drive up the price a bit. Definitely worth a visit for lunch although perhaps another area restaurant may be a better choice for dinner. Again....food was absolutely DELICIOUS!!

En route also to Quebec, we made a beeline to Dylan's recalling our lunch there 3 years before. We each had a Turkey sandwich-- mine Dylan's classic and my husband, Tiff's special wrap with cheddar, pesto and more. Sooooo good especially with unsweetened iced tea! Thanks, Tiff!

We were driving from CT to Quebec City, and St. Johnsbury was the halfway point. We had read about Dylan's Cafe and decided to give it a try. We were so pleasantly surprised by it. The food was good, the servers were so nice, and there is a fun and kind of hip atmosphere there.

Dylan's Cafe has excellent flatbread pizzas. I had the Tuscany Flatbread. It was topped with delicious homemade pesto, fresh tomatoes and mozzarella cheese. The lovely new deck made for great dining on this beautiful summer day. They also have great Green Mountain iced coffee.
