From the moment we arrived to Don greeting us for our stay, I knew we wouldn't want to leave. The Inn was so historically beautiful, clean and just gave you a feel of back in time when life was simple. We only spent one night but absolutely will return. We dined at the Inn for dinner and it was just wonderful. The food was outstanding.
The owners Brian and Leslie really know how to treat guests and leave nothing to worry about during your stay.
Just a precious gem in the mountains of Vermont. A must stay for anyone looking to just relax, get away and feel pampered.

Room Tip: We stayed in the newly renovated "Sterling" room on the second floor of the main Inn. The room is more modern than the others in the Inn but just as charming. We loved the new bathroom. The room also has access to the second floor balcony which we enjoyed having for our use.

Your lovely review is music to our ears. Thank you for telling the world that Rabbit Hill Inn is a "must stay" for anyone seeking a relaxing, pampered getaway. We, along with our fantastic staff, are dedicated to caring for our guests and making each one feel comfortable and oh-so-special. Our chef team continues to "wow" our guests with their amazing cuisine. So glad that you enjoyed the newly renovated Sterling Room - filled with comforts, glowing gas fireplace, spacious bathroom, mountain views, and of course that terrific porch that you noted. Even though you were only able to stay one night, we hope that your time here went by slowly. We hope to see you back at Rabbit Hill Inn next time you need a relaxing getaway.

My husband and I stayed at the Rabbit Hill Inn for our 10 year anniversary weekend. We stayed in the Loft and the room was unbelievable. The bed was so comfortable and there was a 2 person hot tub in the bathroom which we used both nights. There was a fireplace in the sitting area and we also had a private deck off area. The one thing I can't say enough about is the FOOD! You will be so amazed by the dining experience at the Rabbit Hill Inn. The breakfasts every morning were to die for and the dinners were too. What a great place and a great way to spend a special occasion!

Room Tip: We stayed in the Loft - it was awesome!

The Rabbit Hill Inn is the most wonderful place on earth. My husband and I rarely go back to the same place a second time, but we just returned from our second visit to the Rabbit Hill Inn, and it was every bit as spectacular as the first time. The room was amazing, the food was amazing, and the people were amazing. A++++++++ all around.

My gf and I recently stayed at the Rabbit Hill Inn for a Memorial Day weekend and boy did we love it! We stayed in The Nest room on the third floor. The room itself was outstanding! It was clean, spacious, and well decorated. The linens were so soft against your skin and the bed itself was amazingly comfortable. Every single aspect of the room itself was perfect. We found the journals to be extremely entertaining and beautiful. Its amazing to read about people who had stayed previously and there specific stories. It added to the romance of the weekend for sure. It rained a lot the weekend we stayed however we found so much to do. While you are at the Inn i recommend that you take the trip over to Mount Washington. Its beautiful and then you can take the Kancamagus back to see some views to die for! The total trip might take you a good 4 to 6 hours (if you stop and explore) however let me tell you its so worth it!!!!

As far as service it was top notch. Brian and Leslie do whatever they can to make sure that you have an amazing stay. They make everything easy! We also LOVED Don! We looked forever to seeing him daily and talking about anything from fishing to hiking. He was amazing and always brought a smile to our faces. He also was great at making my lovely gf blush and aiding in winning me some points with her :).

We dined each night at the Inn and the food was outstanding. Stayton did an outstanding job each night with the offerings. He was also very social and spent time talking about his creations, passion and experiences. You can tell he has a lot of passion for what he does in the kitchen and being a part of the Rabbit Hill Inn staff. We ended up bringing back a couple pounds of his brat and 2 cups of his mustard which is to die for! I am not a huge mustard guy but I could seriously eat his homemade mustard daily.

Another cool aspect of this experience was the fact that you become friends with the other guests. We met a couple couples and found ourselves hoping we would see them again during our next stay.

In regards to overall value of this experience I can honestly say that it exceeded my expectations. From a financial standpoint it was worth every single dollar spent. I find that its very rare in life that one can feel they get what they pay for ..... well with this one you get beyond what you pay for. Breakfast is included and is OUTSTANDING! We found that after breakfast we didnt feel ready to eat till dinner.

I am not only highly recommending this place but we have already booked our next stay for 4th of July weekend.

All and all this might have been one of the best weekend getaway locations I have ever experienced in my life. I cannot wait to "come home" again soon :)

Room Tip: All rooms are fantastic! Each has its own personality. We loved the nest!

Hi Dan, WOW! Your incredible review has everyone here on cloud nine. Firstly, thank you for taking the time to paint such a detailed picture of your Rabbit Hill Inn experience. This is exactly what viewers seek when researching a travel destination. The sweetest part is that although it was your first visit, you soon felt like you were among friends (with staff and other guests). You have perfectly described the personality and essence of Rabbit Hill Inn. Yes, everything IS easy here. And our wonderful staff really enjoy interacting with guests. Chef Slayton even turned you into a "mustard guy" - go figure! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for telling the world about your visit. Can't wait to see you relaxing on the porch in July!!!

We loved our stay at RHI- it was such a wonderful way to celebrate our first anniversary. Leslie and Brian are extremely warm and hospitable, the food they served at brunch, tea, and dinner was outstanding, and the surrounding area represents the best of beautiful New England with its lakes and mountains. Every last detail from the bedsheets to the games was perfect. We would highly recommend having dinner at RHI, and keeping time to drive yourself crazy with a Stave puzzle!

Room Tip: We stayed in the Caroline, which worked really well for us- we spent most of our time enjoying the common spaces, and just came to our room to sleep.

Hi Natasha, thanks a million for your terrific review. It was our pleasure hosting you for your first anniversary (a very special celebration indeed). You highlighted so many important details that many travelers seek when planning their getaway. So happy to know that your experience was outstanding in every way. Thank you also for mentioning our fun common rooms & those amazing Stave puzzles. RHI is known for being such a social place. After a day filled with activities, guests are always anxious to return to the inn and spend time in the common rooms & pub. That's just one of many highlights that make Rabbit Hill Inn extra special. We must agree... Rabbit Hill Inn brings folks to the "best of beautiful New England". Come back to us again soon - fortunately, you're just 2 hrs away.
