We took the tractor ride to the farm where there are most educational exhibits for young children. Just the ride through some beautiful scenery is worth it!! Later in the afternoon we had signed up for the "Tea Tour" of the Shelburne Inn. We had a very knowledgable tour guide who filled us in on historical details of the Inn and a lovely tour of the public rooms of the Inn, as well as some of the bedrooms. Tea and treats were self-served at the end of the tour. Just to stroll through the garden, Inn and surrounding grounds are well worth going there on its own! It is indeed wonderful that this historic landmark has been so lovingly restored. I can only imagine that an overnight stay at this beautiful Inn would be a magnificent way to go back in time.
