We stayed here one night only in order to visit the impressive Shelburne museum and were warmly welcomed by Anne who made tea for us on arrival and responded to our bombardment of questions about the area giving good advice about eating places and travel directions. Plenty of parking space. We loved having the use of the library for reading. Comfortable en suite room and diverting guests at breakfast which was freshly made and loads of choice. Great conversations too with George whose jazz stories appealed to my knowledgeable husband. Sorry we couldn't stay longer.
