My wife and I and another couple traveled to Vermont to see Fall colors. Hurricane Irene's heavy rainfall earlier in the year suppressed the Fall colors a bit, but we did see spectacular colors in areas and had great hikes in crisp weather.
Crisanver House was a highlight of our trip. The inn's setting is wonderful, on a very large property with spacious views and great hiking right outside the door. The inn keepers were very welcoming and ever ready to help with any request, like hiking ideas or places to visit nearby. The food was fabulous! Wow! The rooms were far above average -- very clean, airy, and bright. Just what we hope for in a B&B. Our room had a spectacular view of across a distant valley. There is a beautiful common area with windows galore and views. A fire was burning each evening in one of the other common area rooms. I'm ready to do this again!More
