My boyfreind and I stayed at the Fiddlers Green Inn because of the pridce
and were delighted with the accommodations. The rooms are relatively small
but well appointed and clean. There was storage for our bikes in the secure garage
The breakfasts were spectacular with a lovely views from the breakfast room.

While immaculately clean, this hotel is very rustic and small. Walls are very thin (you can hear your neighbor's conversations easily, thank goodness they were only talking, if you know what I mean!) The the innkeeper is very nice and the fellow guests are friendly, but I would not recommend this for a romantic getaway, or to someone who values privacy among strangers. Room doors do not lock with a key! Breakfasts were filling, and very simple. Towels are old and shabby. Lighting is too dim in the rooms to read in bed or put on makeup on the bathroom. It might be a good value for friendly groups who are touring rural Vermont in the summer. The location was only a short drive to the ski slopes and downtown Stowe. Unfortunately, the driveway is treacherously icy in the winter time. This is a huge liability, so we were surprised that the owner didn't take more precautions. It was hard pulling out onto the road from the icy drive, scary walking to and from our car and one guest fell and cracked his kneecap right in front of the inn!

Great Value for the money, excellent breakfasts.
Clean. A small farm house style B+B, not for the
resort minded or those looking for a motel.
Close to the bike trails and very accomodating
hosts

I have stayed there in winter and now summer. The hosts were more than accommodating, directing me to the great mountain bikeing trails in the area. Security was not an issue, I could lock
my bike with his in the garage (as my skis in the winter).

The rooms a bit small, but as the house was built in 1820, accommodating enough and quite clean. The bathrooms even the older ones are immaculate. Fresh fluffy towels everyday.
As nice in the summer as ski season

My family and I have been staying at the Fiddler's Green Inn for years. We are always met with great service, great people and great food. There's no better place to stay if you're up for a weekend to ski, or if you're taking in the leaves in the fall.

Staying at Fiddler's Green is kind of like visiting family members who live in an older home. The house was built in 1820 and, except for modern appliances, hot/cold running water, and a little new carpet, not a whole lot has changed. The bedroom and bathroom were very clean, the bed very comfortable, and the breakfast (fresh blueberry pancakes, french toast, and/or bacon and eggs) delicious. The host, Bud, was always ready with a suggestion on where to go, where to eat, or how best to get somewhere--along with a funny story or two. House has a guest refrigerator, available utensils (like wine glasses, bottle openers and corkscrews) One TV in the 'common room'; no phones in the room (cellphone reception was sketchy); no air conditioning (tho we really didn't need it). Summary: rustic almost 'cabin-like' atmosphere with clean comfortable furnishings, a friendly host, great food, near many local attractions at a great price.
