Did this 8/15 with my fiancée. We rented bikes and started out at basically the midway point. We ended up going the full 11 miles both ways. The paths wind along the river, passing all the local hotels, eateries, ...etc. The path itself is an easy take, not strenuous at all. If you are in the mood for a shady, slow pace walk it's a nice take. If you want breathtaking views, there are other attractions for that.
The Views were ok but not amazing like most of the reviews said. There are some random art pieces at the end of one side of the trail. A corn maze in the middle Plenty of benches to stop and rest/talk. The bridges over the water were nice. Nothing overall that you must take the path to go see. It literally is just a nice walk along the river.
The people were for the most part friendly and courteous. Most were quick with a hello and a smile along the path. Unfortunately, we saw a wreck. A 10 year old came too fast off a bridge and forced a older woman off the path where she fell into the brush. The whole family drove by and pretended like nothing happened.
