My wife, 4 year-old son and I found ourselves taking a drive by the resort on our way out of town today. After gazing in wonder at the scenery, we opted to take a high-speed quad to the summit. It was fantastic. Pricey perhaps ($25/adult, the boy was free) but totally worth it. My son was literally awestruck by the experience.

If you love to ski, love a challenge, come on down. The skiing is amazing and there is something for all levels of skiers. It can be cols but after all it is winter! It can be a bit pricey for day lift tickets so you should plan the get the multiday pass. Check on-line because sometimes there are deals. It's worth the drive whether you live in Montreal, Quebec or Boston, Mass.

Needs to be cold to have the best snow. Nice views. Easy to access. Not too busy and you can get alone

This is probably the best mountain around the VT area. There are numerous trails with lift access. The double black diamond were also very challenging. The mountain also has nice lodges where you can get great food/nice hot waffles.
