Great place for lunch or a light dinner. I always get their single bratwurst and it comes with two types of mustard, sauerkraut and boiled potatoes. The single sausage is $15 and the double is $19, which is a better value, but one is enough for me. I love this place because the view is amazing. If weather permits sit outside and you will feel you are on top of the world looking down at the beautiful green mountains.

The food was delicious. It is a bit more affordable then the dining room and it has live music with a piano player. We had a window table and overlooked the mountains as the sun was setting. It is a small area so we had to wait a few minutes for a table but it was worth it. The pretzels and beer dip were amazing! As was the soup. In the morning they serve coffee and tea here and from 3:30 - 4:30 they serve tea and cookies. (also tasty)

We wanted to see the lodge, so ventured there for lunch. Upon arrival, we were informed that the dining room doesn't open until 5pm for supper, but we could have a lunch in the lounge. The menu was a bit restricted and a tad overpriced.
I ordered the smoked chicken sandwich, which did not taste smoked; it was just grilled, possibly. The bread was toasted so tough that it tore up the inside of my mouth. My husband ordered the potato soup, the flavor was delicious, but the temperature was lukewarm (note, it was about 27 degrees outside!). Last, my son ordered the popcorn salad, which is a spring-like salad with popcorn on top. This was very fresh and tasty. We also ordered two of the lodge's own brewed beers - the amber and the ale, which were delicious.
Lastly, the server/bartended was nice enough. The setting was a bit dated, but the view from the room was spectacular.
Overall, the food was nothing wonderful in the lounge. Hopefully, the dining room is better.

The service was friendly, the music was lively and varied (jazz at its best), and the atmosphere made you feel at home!

Nice classy atmosphere and friendly service, very authentic, it feels like being in Austria. Unfortunately we had a mixed experience in the lounge where we went for lunch. We shared a platter of two sausages, which came with cherry mustard, sauerkraut and boiled potatoes. First of all, the dish was overpriced, which we expected. One of the sausages, the Knackwurst, was delicious and authentic. The other one, called Bauernwurst, was dry and had a bland taste. The home made cherry mustard tasted like cherry puree and had no resemblance with mustard, so we asked for regular mustard, and they served us a delicious spicy yellow mustard.the sauerkraut was bland and a little salty. the potatoes were bland also and not a great choice for a side order.we cancelled our dinner reservation because we expected a better value.
