Can't beat Hill Farmstead on tap! Great beer selection and locally sourced food. Even though it was summer, a cozy ambiance on a rainy day.

The title says it all. Great service, great atmosphere, great food. Night time entertainment in the lounge is also a winner.

They have great food and beer, and the back area with games and a fire pit added, along with picnic tables, invite you in from the rec path in Stowe to sit down and have a drink!

We went to this restaurant and had high hopes, but after my wife ordered a risotto that ended up looking (and tasting) like overcooked rice in some sort of broth with overcooked mushrooms with the texture of chicken she was disappointed. As for my meal, I started with a cheddar ale soup that tasted a bit bitter, but my steak was well prepared. I would most definitely not go back.

We came here for lunch the other day and it was a lovely treat. I enjoyed a delishous French Onion soup that was full of onions in a beefy broth. There were many flies buzzing around as we ate which was not at all pleasant...perhaps they could deal with that issue! The hostess that sat us was attentive and helpful, the waitress we had was sweet...she was embarressed by the buzzing flies all around! The beer selection was large...I don't think the ambiance for dinner is quite our style but lunch was great!
