Visited here on a recent craft beer trip I organized for my husband. Had a great visit with the brewer who was more than happy to share his knowledge with us. Sat at the bar and had the trio of tacos and cheese plate and both were delicious. Everyone we encountered was pleasant and friendly. A great little place to stop at when visiting the area!

My husband and I were disappointed in our meal here. For the price, the food was uninteresting and not that tasty. The service was fine, nothing to complain about, but certainly nothing to celebrate. I'd suggest to someone to look elsewhere if looking in this price range.

High expectations after reading a carefully designed menu. Server was pleasant but couldn't tell me where the local mozzarella was from, or any of the other local food they tout. Simple enough question, he even asked the chef & still didn't know. That could be overlooked IF the fried mozzarella were pleasing to the pallet. How anyone could not hit a home run with this is questionable. The breading was gmo generic tasteless commodity junk, which enveloped a soggy wet mess of mozzarella...I've had better at dimly lit roadhouses. Someone needs to get this place dialed in. Suggestion? You'll be much more satiated at the Vermont ale house down the road. As for the crop, your management is clearly overmatched and lacks real life experience.

This place is excellent - the staff, the service and of course the food. We had the fish & chips and it was excellent, arguably the best we have ever had. You won't go wrong whatever you order - great value for money as well. If you're in Stowe this is a 'must do'.

We arrived a few minutes ahead of our 6:00 reservation time. The restaurant was not busy at all at the time. We were promptly seated and provided with water. And that's where the service ended! Two other tables were seated after us. Drink orders were taken for both. The second group had their orders for appetizers taken. And we were still left sitting there with no service. We promptly got up, put on our coats and left. No one even stopped us on the way out. Can't comment on the food because we couldn't even get that far!
