Good wholesome food. Met people from Ottawa, and Germany there. Seems that a lot of people travel from near and far.

We dined at Gracie's on a Friday night. Service and decor was fine. We enjoyed the chowder and plum bread, but were very disappointed in other food preparation. My meat was over cooked and the onion rings ordered were a limp mound of under cooked and raw onions that should never have made the plate. I assume that on this night they simply had an inexperienced cook because of the other favorable reviews I have seen. My experience was contrary and this is not a restaurant that I'll give a second try.

Delicious food and extra large portions! Our hotel was right next door so very convenient. I would suggest calling ahead for reservations. I believe they do not open till 530 pm. If you are a dog lover you will really appreciate the decor.

Gracie's is a popular restaurant in Stowe Vermont. It offers a wide selection of burgers, apps, wings, veggie dishes, good comfort food and a few pastas too. It is a Stowe Classic. While the location has moved to various spots in town over the years (it is currently on the Mountain Road), the service, food and atmosphere have always withstood the test of time. Good quality food at reasonable prices and great selection in a low key and fun place. What more could one want. The large patio is very nice for outside dining. The restaurant has a dog theme "Gracie" and dogs are allowed on the patio. Daily food specials and even drink specials some nights. When in Stowe, Gracies is a great choice for casual dining.

We ate here on a Wednesday evening and the place was quite busy, however we were given table quickly and attended to through out the evening by our server who made us feel at home and valued as a customer. The choice of food on the menu was extensive. For starters we chose wings and prawns, both of which were delicious and portion sizes were generous. Our mains choice were similarly delicious and again generous in size.
Throughout the evening we were looked after with attention but not instrusion by our server who was friendly & efficient - well done!
As we were leaving the owner took the time to personally thank us for eating there, a nice touch.
To sum up, it was one of the best meals we have had whilst touring this region and would happily recommend it anyone
