2013......Regular ritual for us is to do take out from Jim at The Pizza Joint in Stowe Vt on the Moscow Rd.
We ask for the pasta w/ meatballs and sweet sausage baked with a cheese topping. We also get a meatless caesar salid. The pasta comes in a foiled container that can be popped into the oven to stay warm while you do the salad with complementary bread/butter. The portions will easily do two people unless someone has an eating disorder. Jim usually has deserts to go and beer and wine for take out. Other than a sit down at the Foxfire up Rt 100, this is the best pasta to go or sit down in Stowe. Of course, Pizza Joint does other dishes.

You can eat at the Pizza Joint, but no alcohol is allowed to be drunk on the premiises.

I've been here many times for lunch and dinner (mostly take-out) and it has never disappointed. My favorite pizza slices of all time have all come from the Pizza Joint. There are other good pizza places in Stowe but for consistent great food and creative Specials I'll always return to "The Joint".

The pizza joint can be summed up in three words, best pizza around. I travel to Stowe on average 5 times a year and have to stop in to get pizza from here when in town. Try there BBQ chicken pizza if you are a fan of such, this place will not let you done. Wait time is always impressive regardless of busy it may be.

Dirty place, dirty toilet and cold, uncooked food. Came here after a long day of skiing expecting good food based on reviews, but was very disappointed by the food and the surly owner. After informing the sever about the raw doughy Stromboli, the owner offered nothing, until i mentioned it at time of payment. And even then, he offered only a surly, terse response about not charging for the bread! Please, really! Oh, BTW, expect an additional charge on your bill, since their machine "does not deal with pennies, be ready to pay the "rounding error!"

While the Pizza is awesome, the nightly specials are the real find here. This is a great place to grab a fresh breakfast on the back way to the mountain or a perfect quick stop on the way out. For pick ups ordering in advance is the way to go.
